Speechless, Tang Yifeng darted him a look and started following him to the private elevator straight down to the underground parking lot.

When they came out of the lift, they saw Ah Si standing at the door. Beside him was a man about thirty-six or thirty-seven years of age, tied up with a rope.

The man who was wearing a dark blue construction worker’s attire, was sitting on the ground with his head lowered. His body was fit and strong. From Jiang Xuecheng’s angle, he saw a few bruises on his cheeks. He had obviously been in a fight with someone.

Jiang Xuecheng looked calm and his eyes were deep and bottomless. However, that pair of hands seized tightly, showed their owner’s complicated emotions.

“Is he the one?”

Hearing Jiang Xuecheng’s question, Ah Si nodded respectfully. “That’s right, Young Master. He’s the one who wanted to murder Young Madam.”

As Ah Si spoke, his eyes landed on the middle-aged man who was tied up and now sitting on the ground. His look changed.

“I’ve questioned him. His name is Wu Bing. He committed a few sneaky criminal acts in the past but there were all small without any criminal records, he was merely lectured. Recently, he lost a lot of money in an underground gambling den and so…”

Before Ah Si’s voice died down, Wu Bing, who was sitting on the ground, suddenly raised his head, as if he had been jarred.

His eyes were gloomy and lax. His dazed eyes swept across the three men who were looking at him from above. After that, his eyes were fixed on the person whom Ah Si addressed as Young Master.

“Please don’t kill me. I did not do this intentionally. I lost a lot of money and that’s why I was corrupted. That day, a pretty lady came to look for me and said she would help me repay my debt, I…”

While he talked, his face was covered with tears. It was a pitiful sight.

It was obvious that when Ah Si found him, he had given Wu Bing an unforgettable lesson.

Both Wu Bing’s hands and feet were tied by ropes. However, he dragged the rope and crawled toward Jiang Xuecheng with his knees and tried to beg for his forgiveness, probably because he was eager to survive.

When Wu Bing was nearing Jiang Xuecheng, Ah Si frowned and stood in front of Wu Bing to block him.

His young master was a clean freak and didn’t like strangers to be near him.

However, Ah Si did not expect Jiang Xuecheng to walk past him and bend down to look into Wu Bing’s eyes.

“When did the woman look for you? Describe how she looks. How much did she give you?”

Wu Bing met Jiang Xuecheng’s eyes and he didn’t know why he couldn’t help s.h.i.+vering when his gaze met that pair of dark eyes.

This man was frightening.

Wu Bing paled and his body shrunk backward. Unconsciously, he felt he had provoked this man and life might be worse than death for him in the future…

Wu Bing’s veins on his forehead kept throbbing and his teeth chattered. He started to think about Jiang Xuecheng’s questions.

“I don’t know that lady. I only remembered…she came to look for me last week. She’s fair, gentle and has a nice voice. She gave me one hundred thousand dollars at first and said will give me another one thousand dollars when I’m done…”

“So you owe the gambling den two hundred thousand dollars in total, do you?”

Jiang Xuecheng stood up. When he said this, he was looking at Ah Si.

Just when Wu Bing wanted to answer, Ah Si had nodded first.
