Although she was not hungry, she still had to have dinner. So, both of them picked a Western restaurant beside the hot spring hotel.

After they were both seated, they ordered a few dishes. When the waiter came, Su Wan suddenly thought of something.

“Two more cups of mocha please, thank you.”

Su Yurou and the old man held hands and they walked toward a dining table. When they were ordering food, she squeezed into the man’s arms, as if telling him an interesting joke. Then, she suddenly tiptoed and placed a kiss on his forehead.

Su Wan had a strange feeling in her heart. It was not sympathy towards Su Yurou but this scene sent a chill to her spine.

That man looked older than Su Yurou’s father. How could Su Yurou accept this…

The waiter had made the coffee. There was a tray in his hand and he gave Su Wan and Jiang Xuecheng a professional smile.

“Mocha for two. Please enjoy.”

“Thank you.”

Su Wan s.h.i.+fted her eyes from Su Yurou to the waiter as she nodded faintly.

Jiang Xuecheng noticed Su Wan’s discomfort. He looked around and immediately knew what Su Wan was looking at just now.

Jiang Xuecheng used a spoon to stir his coffee. He pursed his lips and his voice was like tranquil water underneath a bridge.

“Is it strange that a person like her would make such a choice?”

Before the Lu’s auction ended that day, Ah Si had informed Jiang Xuecheng that he had received Su Yurou’s compensation for the evening gown.

Millions of dollars was no small amount for the current Su Yurou. It was impossible for her to raise such a big amount of money in a few hours on her own.

Now that he saw Su Yurou and the man in his fifties appearing here together, everything was clear.

Jiang Xuecheng shot him a cold look and held Su Wan’s hand. “Let’s go, Wan Wan. Best not to let some things dirty our eyes.”
