Chapter 1313: Is This a Coincidence?
When he set out to deal with the Zhai family, he feared that this person would interfere with what he was doing.

“Things that belong to you? In your mind, what exactly belongs to you? Jian Yiling? The a.s.sets of the Zhai family? Or the a.s.sets of the Qin family?” Qin Yufan asked Qin Chuan rhetorically. “Originally, you shouldn’t even have owners.h.i.+p of anything in the Qin family. Don’t forget that you are only an illegitimate son.”
Qin Yufan looked at him in the same way that she did in their previous lives.
His recent actions utterly destroyed the relations.h.i.+p he built up with her in this life.
However, Qin Chuan understood why Qin Yufan felt this way.
He could understand her hatred towards him.
He knew what he owed her.
When this was all over, he would pay her back for everything he did.
Qin Chuan’s silence made Qin Yufan even angrier.
“What kind of sorcery did Mo s.h.i.+yun perform on you? Ever since you invited her to live here, you haven’t acted normal! I think you’re acting like this because you’re under her influence!”
“This has nothing to do with her,” Qin Chuan replied. He didn’t become like this after he invited Mo s.h.i.+yun to live here.
“You’re still defending her?!”
“I’m not defending her. This is my business. You don’t need to involve her.”
“Well, you’re pampering Mo s.h.i.+yun whilst hitting on Yiling! It’s disgusting to watch! You make me sick!”
“Perhaps, you’re right,” Qin Chuan quietly said. There was a hint of self-mockery in his words.
He was probably indeed a disgusting person.
