However, the Jian family was unsure of how Master Liang would respond.

He Yan smiled and asked Wen Nuan: “Sister-in-law, why didn’t you bring Yiling along?”

He Yan’s eyes were s.h.i.+ning. She hadn’t forgotten that day at the charity party when Master Liang had purchased a pink diamond and given it to Jian Yiling.

Wen Nuan replied: “Today, we’re here for business.”

They weren’t here to socialize. Why would she bring her daughter?
