Chapter 40: Master Sheng Pays a Visit

He Yan gritted her teeth. It was easy for Grandma Jian to say. She could just rely on Jian Shuxing or Jian Shupeng’s sons to inherit and carry on the family legacy.

However, what about her? Did she have to rely on her nephews to feed her in the future?

He Yan suppressed her dissatisfaction in her heart and continued to smile. She said, “Let’s think about this later. Let’s wait until Yujie finishes his college examinations.”

On the other hand, He Yan was unable to hold herself back. Her mind was not focused on drinking tea.

When Grandma Jian saw He Yan being unable to sit still, she sighed to herself.

Compared to He Yan, Grandma Jian liked her granddaughter and grandson much more.

It didn’t take long for Grandpa Jian to come back. This time, he brought back two young men with him.

One of which everyone recognized. He was Yu Xi, the son of the Qiyue Group.

Yu Xi’s appearance was outstanding. His attractiveness and figure were both top-notch.

However, he still couldn’t be compared to the man who stood beside him.

That man beside him was the person who Jian Yiling had met earlier. He was previously leaning on the green sports car.

“Please take a seat, Mr. Zhai,” Grandpa Jian said with a neutral tone. There was no sense of admiration or servitude contained in his tone. Grandpa Jian treated Zhai Yunsheng in the same way he treated his other guests.

Zhai Yunsheng sat down opposite to Jian Yiling. His eyes were solely focused on her.

An eerie smile played on Zhai Yunsheng’s lips. The smile made people feel that their privacy was encroached upon.
