Today’s incident was incredibly sudden. And thus, they were unable to arrange for many people to accompany them.
At this moment, Jian Yiling and Li Zhuojia were both very tired. They did not notice someone approaching them.
Jian Yunnao was dumbfounded to see the scene in front of him.

He stood in place. It was as though he was petrified. He stared at Jian Yiling in a mute manner.

The surgery had been successful. The extravasated blood had been removed.
As of now, Grandma Jian was in a good state.
After a few hours, Grandma Jian regained consciousness.
Grandma Jian’s first reaction after waking up was to look for Jian Yiling.
“Where’s Yiling? Did Yiling come?” Grandma Jian asked. “Ahh, it’s my fault. I wanted to surprise her for her birthday. However, things ended up like this… The surprise turned into a shock… Is she okay?”
“Mother, don’t worry. Yiling is fine. We didn’t tell her about this.”

As they were talking, Jian Yiling walked through the door.
Jian Yunnao was following Jian Yiling.
The two of them entered one after the other. They were separated by half a meter. That gave the impression that they weren’t close.
“Yiling? Why are you here?”
Jian Yiling walked over to the hospital bed and gently leaned her upper body against a spot that was next to Grandma Jian’s arm.
However, she didn’t touch Grandma Jian’s body. Despite that, it looked as though she was snuggling up to her.
Upon seeing this, Grandma Jian quickly said: “Yiling, don’t be sad. I’m fine.”
“Does it hurt?” Jian Yiling asked as she raised her head.
Her scalpel had cut through the bodies of many people. However, it didn’t feel the same when it was Grandma Jian.
“Silly girl. It doesn’t hurt at all! I’m fine! However, I may have to lie on the hospital bed for quite some time. As a result, I won’t be able to celebrate your birthday with you.”
Jian Yiling paused for a moment. Then, she said slowly: “You can owe me for today’s birthday. You can pay it back by celebrating my birthday with me next year, the year after that, and for the next ten years.”
When Grandma Jian heard this, she didn’t know what to say.
Silly girl. She was nearly eighty years old. How could she guarantee to stay with her for another ten years?
She was lucky to survive this time.
Upon hearing this, everyone in the room felt saddened.
In an attempt to ease the atmosphere in the ward, Jian Yuncheng turned around to ask Jian Yunnao where he had gone.
However, Jian Yunnao did not reply. Instead, he lowered his head and stayed silent.
