The store owner led the crowd to the entrance of the escape room. Then, he gave Han Mengyu a pager: “Same rules as usual. If you’re stuck inside or if you’re facing any sort of danger, remember to use the pager.”

The escape room was located in an abandoned factory building. It was far away from the center of Beijing. And thus, this old man had transformed it into an elaborate escape room.

The factory building was very large. The old man had carefully arranged and designed the interior of the escape room. Once inside, it would not be an easy task to get out.

Han Mengyu and the others had come to this escape room in the past. However, most of the time, they were unable to escape. And thus, they had to use the pager to communicate with the store owner. In the end, they only managed to escape with the guidance of the old man.

Then, Han Mengyu told the crowd that they were playing with the same rules as usual. The partic.i.p.ation fee for every person was ten thousand dollars.

After entering the escape room, whoever solved a puzzle would earn ten thousand dollars. If the number of puzzles solved exceeded the total prize pool, then he would pay up the remaining amount. On the other hand, if there was money left over, the money would be used for karaoke later that night.

Then, the crowd entered the escape room and started their journey.

As soon as they entered, the door they came through got locked.

The room that they entered was dimly lit. In addition, there were no windows in that room. The walls were worn and parts of the ceiling were flaking off.

There was only a hospital bed in the room. There was a dummy that laid on the hospital bed.

The dummy was made out of resin. The craftsmans.h.i.+p of the dummy was incredible. All of its features were incredibly realistic.

However, the organs of the dummy were missing.

As a result, the dummy gave off a creepy vibe.

As the escape room had started, everyone began to search the room for clues.

Jian Yiling walked towards the dummy.

She began to carefully examine the dummy’s death.

If the store owner was professional enough, the dummy’s death would match the storyline of the escape room.

Xing Wei and Han Mengyu were shocked when they saw Jian Yiling staring at the dummy.

Wasn’t the dummy meant to be the most terrifying thing in the room?

Then why was Jian Yiling examining it so carefully?

She did not seem terrified of the dummy. Instead, it seemed like she was quite interested in it!

“The cuts on the dummy were made in a way that makes it seem like the person was dissected alive,” Jian Yiling replied. “The details on this dummy are incredibly realistic.”

Jian Yiling was quite interested in the person who made this dummy.

The person who created this dummy had used appropriate materials and relevant medical knowledge. As a result, the finished product appeared more realistic.

Zhai Yunsheng rarely heard Jian Yiling comment on someone or something in such a way.

Well, it seemed like he made the correct decision to invite her.

“After we get out, let’s ask the store owner how he made this dummy,” Zhai Yunsheng said.
