“Thank you, Aunt,” said Su Qingsang and took that as a compliment. “I don’t really have a sharp tongue. I just prefer to be honest.”

Liu Tongjia’s face twisted with anger. “Great, you are good at this. I’d like to see how long your tricks will keep working on Jinyao.”

“Aunt, I’d like to know about that too. Maybe you can ask him about that for me next time.”

Su Qingsang found herself becoming more and more thick-skinned in front of Liu Tongjia.

Liu Tongjia was so enraged that she couldn’t even say anything else. At last, she gave Su Qingsang a fierce glare, turned and went upstairs without looking back.

He lowered his head to kiss her on the forehead. The corners of his lips were twisted in a small smile the whole time.

“Why are you back so soon? Didn’t you drive her home?”

“Her place is not far away,” replied Huo Jinyao. He didn’t intend to tell her about how he had warned Li Wanyu in the car earlier on.

He was willing to be nice to Li Junsheng’s sister, for the sake of his friends.h.i.+p with him. However, he still warned Li Wanyu to be wise and not to do anything to displease him.

Abruptly, he dropped his head, pressed his forehead against Su Qingsang’s cheek and said, “He Xuanyao wants to have babies with me, and you’re fine with it? Eh? What are you thinking about?”

Su Qingsang blushed. Did he know what had happened?

“I’m not interested in her indeed.” Huo Jinyao suddenly lifted her and carried her in his arms. “And I don’t agree with what you said to her.”

He looked down at her with a very serious look in his eyes. “Next time, when someone offers to have babies with me, you can tell them that I said no. After all, I now belong to you.”
