Xia Meilin went back to her room after she talked with her grandfather. She sat on the bedside before she decided to lie down and stare at the ceiling for a while.

Even if the Xia family wronged Yong Biqi, she shouldn't have gone that far. Besides, it was actually Xia Bolin's fault so why would she hate her own sister? Xia Meilin couldn't help but wonder.

"Please don't tell Ji Ruo that I told you about this."

Xia Meilin closed her eyes. Now that she has heard everything from her grandfather, she knew that the Xia family was partially at fault. Xia Meilin let out a heavy sigh. She just want to be in Lu Yifeng's arms and forget everything. In his arms, she always felt safe and secure, she couldn't care much about what's happening in her surroundings when he's around. But he wasn't there right now and Xia Meilin was having a hard time since her brother wasn't around too. She has no one to go to, even Li Bingbing, who was stolen by her brother.

Xia Meilin wanted to go out and forget everything for now. Once Lu Yifeng comes then that's when they'll think about it, together.

A sudden thought came in her mind. She sat up and smiled because of the idea that entered her mind. "That's it."

Xia Meilin took her phone and called Dong Hua.

After a few rings, Dong Hua answered the call. "Yes, madam?"

"Prepared the car. Bring Zhao Junxu and my other two bodyguards with you. Pick me up here."

"Okay. We'll be there in a while." Dong Hua said without questioning her. All he have to do is to follow her orders, besides, Lu Yifeng ordered him to watch over Xia Meilin so that was his main job.

"Thank you."

After the call ended, Xia Meilin stood up and stared at her room, she turned to look at her phone's wallpaper and smiled.

"Huh? Momma, why are you here?" Little Melon asked. He was called by his teacher in the middle of the cla.s.s earlier, telling him that his mother was outside the room.

"We're going somewhere." Xia Meilin grinned.

Little Melon blinked a few times. "Mello has still some cla.s.ses to attend."

"Don't you want to skip cla.s.s today?" Xia Meilin chuckled.

Little Melon's eyes sparkled. He nodded happily, he wanted to skip his cla.s.ses so that he can play more at home. Besides, this was going to be his first time in skipping a cla.s.s to he was excited about it.

"Then go get your bag, don't worry, I have told your teacher about this already. You'll be excused until you come back."

"Okay!"

Little Melon hurriedly went back to his room and started putting his things inside his bag.

Yong Xiao Yao looked at him when she realized he was packing.

"You're going somewhere?" Yong Xiao Yao asked in a whispering tone.

Little Melon nodded. "Mello will skip cla.s.s. Don't tell others." He whispered to her.

He took his lunchbox and placed it on her desk. "Here, you can have this."

Then he took his bottle of milk. "This too."

Yong Xiao Yao blinked a few times with what Little Melon did. Then Little Melon turned to his other seatmate and gave him a car shaped eraser. Since Little Melon has so many different shaped erasers, he handed it to everyone.

As for his teacher, he gave her his pencil with a cat head on top.

After that he turned to his cla.s.smates. He smiled brightly at them. "Mello's skipping cla.s.s! Bye bye everyone!"

"Bye bye Mello!" The others waved at him happily and watched him leave the room.

Xia Meilin saw everything he did from the back door of the cla.s.s, she couldn't help but sigh at her son's bubbly and cheerful att.i.tude. He sure gets along with everyone.

"Let's go momma!" Little Melon said happily.
