After finally calming down, Lu Yifeng ordered Mo Jing to accompany Little Melon to his room and to make sure that he fell asleep.

Xia Meilin locked herself in her room and cried for a while on her bed.

She never expected that Lu Yifeng would try to force her. He was too scary, this was the first time she saw him this way.

When her tears stopped falling, she went to the bathroom to take a shower but seeing the hickey all over her neck through the mirror made her remember what had just happened. In the middle of the night, Lu Yifeng visited her room. Since he had a key to her room, he was able to enter it. He knew that he shouldn't be doing that but... He wanted to see her.

He sat by her bedside and watched her sleep. He gently stroked her hair as he stared at her for a while.

He stayed there for a while, watching her sleep before he decided to go back to his room, but the moment he stood up, he heard her soft voice.

"Yifeng..."

He turned to her, surprised that she mentioned his name in her sleep.

But instead of facing a sleeping Xia Meilin, he came face to face with her red-rimmed eyes. She sat up and pulled the blanket to cover her legs. She was a light sleeper whenever she fell asleep with something on her mind. The moment he entered her room, she actually woke up.

She was afraid when she thought of the things he could possibly do to her when he entered her room but what she never expected him to do was apologize.

After she calmed down, she started thinking clearly. She thought back about what happened and realized that it was also her fault.

Lu Yifeng lowered his head, the words she said earlier were the ones that made him lose it. He was too afraid of losing her since he knew about her feelings for Feng Ning. He couldn't tolerate it whenever he saw her trying to stand up for him.

This was the kind of Lu Yifeng that she was getting to know during her stay with him that's why she didn't try to use the incident that happened earlier to judge him all at once.

Lu Yifeng is a kind and a good person, he will not do things without reason. He loves her and she ignored it, that's why he got mad earlier. But in the end, even if she pushed him to his limits, he apologized to her. He is an understanding man and he will listen to her as long as she will tell him the truth and explain it to him nicely. This was the image she has of Lu Yifeng, so how will she be able to continue being mad at him or hate him?
