*Knock knock*

Standing in front of Miyuki's door, Ben was smirking at the thought of what he was about to see. Yet, when he saw that the person who opened the door wasn't Miyuki, but Camila, he feigned a worried expression, his mouth opening in slight shock.

Seeing this, the Latina's eyes glinted and the corner of her lips stretched, as she welcomed him inside. "h.e.l.lo Ben, please, come in."

Gulping, Ben stepped into the room, to see Miyuki sitting on the bed with her gentle smile. Their gazes connected, pa.s.sing an almost telepathic message that led to them both releasing slight smiles that they hid when Camila turned to look at them.

Sitting down next to Miyuki, getting a whiff of her familiar vanilla scent, Ben waited with patience to see just what Camila wanted to do here. To his surprise though, the Latina didn't go overboard. The three only proceeded with small talk about the university, dorm, studying, and such. There was no drama, no blackmail. It was a peaceful scene; at least, that was the case until Miyuki went to the bathroom.

After the door shut, Camila leaned in towards Ben, displaying a concerned expression. "Ben, dear, we need to talk about something… Those videos and doc.u.ments you have on me. They make me feel unwell, and I'm worried about the future health of our child…"

Hearing that, Ben's eyes narrowed. 'So that was it.' He'd guessed what Camila was trying to do by getting all three of them together like this, and now he was certain. It was blackmail again!

She was planning to threaten him through subtext that she would tell Miyuki about their "baby" if he didn't give her what he had on her. It wasn't a bad plan, except for two simple facts: not only was there nothing to tell since the baby was an unborn ghost…but even more relevant than that—Miyuki already knew about it!

Trusting her, Ben had told her about the little game he was playing with Camila, thinking she might find it entertaining too. So when the Mexican beauty approached her, Miyuki already possessed an inkling of what she was up to, texting Ben about it in advance. In fact, at the moment, Miyuki was texting Ben a line of laughing emojis!

*Beep*

Checking his phone, Ben had to clear his throat to hold back from laughing. Seeing him ignore her veiled threat, Camila's eye twitched. This was her latest plan and she needed it to work. So when Ben wasn't taking her seriously, it gave her a bad feeling, a sudden experience of deja vu, thinking back to that time when she got s.c.h.l.o.n.ged from here to Honduras…

However, Ben soon fell back into character. Showing an expression of deep concern, he leaned even closer to Camila, putting a hand on her stomach as if protecting it. "Oh no…you feel bad? We can't have that! I'll tell you what. I can't give you the videos. Those are precious memories to show our child…"

Camila grimaced. 'Precious memories? It's f*cking p.o.r.n you made!'

Still, Ben showed a sincere and hopeful expression and Camila couldn't take this anymore. "Maybe, we should ask Miyuki's opinion?"

Hearing that, Ben gasped, his eyes widening as if in fear of that suggestion.

*Creak*

When Miyuki came out of the bathroom and sat next to them, his face only grew worse, as if he was expecting impending doom. Then, right when Camila smirked because she thought she had him by the b.a.l.l.s…

"What a great idea!" Ben's face did a complete 180!

He grinned and nodded, as if appreciating Camila's creativity and thoughtfulness.

'Huh?' Camila didn't know what was going on but she didn't like it. Her smirk froze on her face as her eyes fell. This was becoming a regular routine for her. She was starting to wonder if her face would get stuck into this shape at this rate…

Ben ignored her though. Instead, he turned to Miyuki and grabbed her hands. "Miyuki, we're going to be pregnant!"

Miyuki gasped, showing an unclear reaction to this news. Seeing, this, a trace of hope reignited in Camila's eyes. 'Of course, she won't like that. How will any woman like her man getting another woman pregnant. Maybe I can use this too—'

"That's wonderful!" Miyuki's eyes s.h.i.+ned with the hope of bringing new life into the world…

It was the same hope that was stolen from Camila's eyes at that moment…

Her face was back in a frozen smirk. She was getting pretty good at it…
