Xia Gucheng’s successful kill in one blow had not only mortified the four Founders Youth, Rock, Chill and Mortis still here, he had also increased the momentum of his side considerably!

Even if the five Superior Law G.o.ds of the Skywing Clan made up a minority, they were also able to demonstrate a Founder’s might when they were grouped together!

The Skywing Wolfpack raised their heads to look. The meteor shower was a fearsome sight, and no one knew if this was a naturally occurring phenomenon, or if someone had intentionally unleashed such a fierce attack.

“It’s Constant!” Old Crane’s expression changed drastically as he said gravely, “That scene just now was not a miracle of nature, but a display of power by Constant! The strongest warrior of the entire universe, Constant, is back!”

Xia Gucheng was stunned. He had of course heard Constant’s name. Everyone knew that he was the strongest out of the thirteen Founders! Out of the remaining twelve, only Solo had the ability to withstand a few rounds against Constant, while everyone else was no match for him! That was evidence enough of the frightening strength this super expert wielded!

Crane, Vista, Ocean looked as if their greatest nemesis had descended! Beads of sweat covered Ocean’s forehead, and it was hard to tell if it was due to the injury he had sustained or out of fear of Constant.

Fiery ma.s.ses of fire continued to rain down, and out walked an inconspicuous figure, wearing a normal-looking set of war armor. His nondescript stature and looks, with his two hands clasped behind his back, made him appear as if he was hardly anyone notable.

But it was this seemingly average individual who had the most ill.u.s.trious name in the entire universe. Constant!

The expert Constant, who could stand proudly atop the world!

The leader of the thirteen Founders, the strongest individual controlling the entire Law Realm!

Glancing at the injured Youth, as well as the panting Rock and Chill, Constant wrinkled his forehead and softly said, “All of you, retreat first.”

He did not speak too loudly, yet his voice projected clearly. Even Xia Gucheng and the others standing across from their enemies could hear his voice clearly.

What a daring declaration! What firm self-confidence! Constant was actually intending to solo the four Founders, as well as the five Skywing Law G.o.ds!

The Skywing Wolfpack was very rash. Their eyes were bloodshot, but their Grand Ancestor Xia Gucheng clenched his fist tight. Xia Gucheng directly spat, while the Skywing Wolfpack behind him all looked indignant in their outrage.

“If you call this protection, then how about yours truly protect you and your entire family?!” Xia Gucheng spat emotionlessly.

Xia Gucheng truly lived up to his name as the Grand Ancestor of the Skywing Clan. Not only was he a powerful fighter, his mouth was also ruthless! He had no need to throw expletives when cursing someone, comparable to the sharp-tongued Xia Fei!

Constant froze for a moment, then his expression turned black.

No matter what, Xia Gucheng was a prominent figure in the Law Realm, the one leading the Demon-Sealing Fiendish Blade. Yet this patriarch was different from any other patriarch. Talking to him was like jumping on a floor with strewn nails, p.r.i.c.kly and sharp everywhere!

“What use is there for a sharp tongue? You’re still going to die by my hands today,” Constant answered coldly. He turned his head and casually glanced at Old Crane and the others, saying in a low voice, “Ultimately, we were comrades that fought side by side back in the day, establis.h.i.+ng the Law Realm afterwards. On account of that past friends.h.i.+p, we can all still be comrades if you turn back now.”

Constant was truly the most scheming out of the thirteen Founders. He was in no rush to dive into battle, but was attempting to dismantle the Alliance between the three founders and the Skywings!

The chances of Skywing achieving victory here would be slim if they lose the a.s.sistance of the three Founders!

The look in Constant’s eyes radiated compa.s.sion, demonstrating just how good at acting he was!

Unfortunately, he had underestimated Xia Gucheng, the Grand Ancestor of the Skywing Clan. He was not one that was easy to mess around with!

“I guess being your comrade must be really fortunate. Just how many comrades did you have on your side back then? How are they doing right now?” Xia Gucheng asked with a mirthless laugh.

Old Crane and the others were actually wavering a little. After all, they were all very well acquainted with just how frighteningly powerful Constant was, but Xia Gucheng’s words caused the faces of the three Founders to turn sullen.

Sometimes, comrades existed solely for the sake of being betrayed. Back in the day, Constant had not even blinked an eye when he slaughtered his own twenty-seven disciples. That scene was carved deeply into the minds of Crane and the others.

Heaving a long sigh, Crane shook his head, “Constant, I will admit that you’re the one who put in the most effort when we were carving out a world of our own, so becoming the leader of the thirteen Founders made sense. But that is all in the past. It was just a matter of time before we severed this tie, so why not do it today.”

Constant suddenly burst into laughter, a fierce look in his eyes. Since the three Founders had already made up their minds, he no longer hid the ruthless and tyrannical personality he had inside. He was determined to begin the ma.s.sacre!

“Looks like I shouldn’t have let any of you remain alive back then; you all should have suffered the same fate as Solo, and disappeared for good! That way, we would not be in this situation here today, waiting for you all to come out and ruin my great undertaking at such a crucial juncture!” Constant remarked coldly.

The three founders were stunned as Crane exclaimed, “You did not stop short at killing our disciples, but a.s.sa.s.sinated Solo as well?!”

Constant glowered, “Any threat needs to be removed as soon as possible! Of course, the main reason you’ve all lived until now is because none of you were considered a threat comparable to Solo!”

This one line revealed the hatefulness of Constant!

Solo had been the only one out of the thirteen Founders who was close to Constant in terms of his cultivation, and Constant felt that the withdrawn Solo would ultimately be a threat to his plans. Back when Constant had decided to eliminate his twenty-seven disciples and broker an agreement with the Inverse, Solo had stood up and opposed him. Crane pointed at Chill with a trembling hand. “So you already knew about Solo! Yet you not once said a word about it to me! Solo and I started on the warrior’s path together, and he was my best friend my entire life! To think you’d all be so callous, so don’t blame me if I use the same method on you all to seek redress on his behalf!”

With that said, the veins on Old Crane’s face bulged. He instantly looked a lot more wizened than before, his entire body shaking in his rage. Ocean and Vista did not share as close a relations.h.i.+p with Solo as Old Crane, but they were also furious. After all, this was a comrade that they had fought side-by-side with all those years ago, and just because Solo had chosen a different path than Constant, he had ended up dead over it. There was no way any of them could accept such an outcome.

Killing intent gradually turned turbulent, and like water bursting through a dam, there was no way they could quell their anger!
