Gu Yunhe’s eyes glistened.

Just a while ago, Ruxue told him that the marriage with the princess might work out, but could require some time, but now… he was taken into the court directly? So as long as he behaved well, the whole thing could be set?

That made him extremely excited!

He had been joking about marrying Chu Yu’s sister at a banquet a while ago, but Chu Yu was not willing to do that because he did not like Gu Yunhe. Now Gu Yunhe was going to marry a princess!

He was very eager to see what Chu Yu would look like!

“Alright, I will seize the opportunity and get the princess!” Gu Yunhe said as if he were very sure about it.

Zhou Huailing had intended to say something more, but seeing Gu Yunhe’s behavior, Zhou Huailing believed that the man might have his own idea. After all, it was his own marriage that he talked about. So he said nothing more.

“I will get you when I go into the court tomorrow, just get ready,” Zhou Huailing said as he got up.

Seeing that Gu Ruxue remained seated he frowned. “So you are not returning to the mansion with me?”

Gu Ruxue stood up directly. She had known Zhou Huailing for a while and knew his temper well. Most of the time, he was gentle and kind, but if he spoke in a very strange tone, then it basically meant that he was not happy with the situation.

She was not yet that stupid as to displease Zhou Huailing when her Elder Brother might marry the Princess.

“Of course I am, though I had the intention of spending some more time here. Since you are here Lord, I am going back to the mansion with you,” Gu Ruxue said with a flattering tone.

Zhou Huailing nodded with slight satisfaction, then the two left.

Gu Yunhe saw them off at the gate.

It was not until they went into the wagon, that Zhou Huailing said, “You should not always stay at your own home if nothing serious is going on here. There are a lot of things to handle at Lord Ling’s mansion which require your management. Qingqing did a great job when she was in your position, and she never made me worried.”

It was something that truly displeased Zhou Huailing, so he did not even notice that he involuntarily mentioned Qingqing.

He was thinking that when he married the princess, he would be the Princess’ husband who was allowed to walk in and out of the court whenever he wanted.

“The court is a special place with many complicated rules. When you come to the princess’ area, don’t walk around casually just aim at finding Princess Xunyang, alright?” Zhou Huailing stressed.
