In the blink of an eye, they reached the chairman’s office on the top floor of the office tower.

Flynn Davis wiped the sofa with his sleeve, which the janitor had already cleaned, and respectfully asked Lucas to take a seat. “Read it out loud,” Lucas ordered calmly.

“I-I…” Davis stammered while sweating profusely and s.h.i.+vering continuously. The content of the doc.u.ments was outrageous. How could he read it aloud?

“You refuse to read it, right? I’ll read it for you.” Lucas began reading out loud every single word on the doc.u.ments smoothly, as if he had already memorized it like the back of his hand.
