Quivering, they panted as they ran and threw talismans. Jian Chongying threw two, while Qi Hao threw three. None of them were as powerful as the previous two times that Lu Chengfu had used the talisman.

The ghost thing would only stop for a moment, before it soon caught up with them again.

They were so scared that their faces turned green and they s.h.i.+vered in fear.

“What do we do? What do we do?” Seeing that the ghost thing had caught up with them again, w.a.n.g Xuewen cried and asked Jian Chongying the question.

Qi Hao also asked in despair, “Are we really going to die here?”

Lu Chengfu was about to say that he would give it another try, but before he could speak, he suddenly tripped and fell to the ground.
