Since the Raging Waves Guards were from Raging Waves City, there were many more of them than there were Spirit Guards.

However, the Raging Waves Guards were also much busier than the Spirit Guards.

The Spirit Guards were only present in Raging Waves City to help the Raging Waves Guards during the active period of the dimensional rift. They only stepped in to help protect Raging Waves City during special circ.u.mstances.

Now that the dimensional rift’s active period had ended, the Spirit Guards had not had much to do recently and were preparing to return to the Royal Capital.

But, they only had to pay with Law Source Crystals when they worked with Sky City. Law Source Crystals were not valuable to Raging Waves City.

Since deep seas bordered Raging Waves City, it was more likely for high-cla.s.s water world dimensional rifts to open there than Indigo Azure City. Hence, Raging Waves City would be able to offer much more Law Source Crystals than Indigo Azure City could.

Moreover, Raging Waves City had no use for the Law Source Crystals and had collected a sizable pile over the last century.

Since An He had personally admitted that Sky City’s City Lord was his friend, w.a.n.g Ce could not cause trouble for An He’s friend.

Most of the disciples of royalty were older than 30 years old, and many had crossed 40 years old as well.

Besides the newer disciples, who were still relatively unknown, w.a.n.g Ce had heard about the personalities and characteristics of the other three disciples.

Gu Lang was gentle and well-mannered. Zong Ze liked to fight and was stand-offish yet reasonable. An He had a strange temperament. He was respectful to those close to him but refused to give the time of day to others. Apparently, he was also very arrogant.

An He was the most difficult to handle among the three of them.

If he had called the person on the island his friend and w.a.n.g Ce went ahead to cause trouble for that person, it was possible that An He would seek w.a.n.g Ce out to teach him a lesson.
