There was no traffic on the way here. Before long, the red dot blinking on Huo Yao's phone finally flickered slower.

In front of them was a huge sc.r.a.p yard. In the darkness, the high beam coming from the car was s.h.i.+ning straight at the rusty gate with a sign hanging over it.

The GPS location had directed her here.

Huo Yao did not get out of the car. She glanced around coldly before stepping on the gas hard. The car charged right through the old gates effortlessly with a loud bang.

Under the headlights, the gates fell to the ground leaving a cloud of dust in its wake.

There was some light in the sc.r.a.p yard but it was not too bright. The moment the car charged through the gates, everyone in the compound heard it.

Dozens of men in black walked over swiftly. They automatically raised their hands to cover their eyes when they encountered jarring light coming from the car's high beams. After their eyes got accustomed to the light, they saw two people sitting in the car.

Huo Yao sat in the car quietly and looked at them. She undid her seatbelts five seconds later and got off the car unhurriedly.

A gentle breeze went by, making some hair cover her eyes slightly. Huo Yao blew the stray hair aside. She walked straight towards them, rolling up her coat sleeves nonchalantly to reveal her fair slender wrist.

"Where is he?" Her voice sounded soft and harmless, but everyone in the compound could hear it clearly.

The man standing in the lead looked at Huo Yao with his eyes narrowed. He was clearly startled and did not expect anyone to find the location so quickly.

He raised his eyes and glanced behind Huo Yao. Other than a proud-looking man, there was no one else.

"Did you bring it?" The man stood with his arms crossed. He did not feel intimidated by Huo Yao and Chen Ming at all.

The faint scent of blood could be smelled in the air.

"Nope." Huo Yao held her wrist with her long, fair fingers.

"How could you come without it?" The man laughed coldly. He scrutinized Huo Yao up and down and suddenly smiled wickedly.

He raised his chin and gave an order to his subordinate. "Get the girl."

Since she had come knocking on his door, it was a pity to let her off.

Moreover, she was gorgeous.

The man tutted before he turned and headed inside.

Huo Yao suddenly looked up. There was a broken stick on the ground. She instantly bent over to pick it up and hit the man on the back of his head. She was so swift that no one was able to react in time.

The man stumbled forward from the immense pain and nearly fell onto the ground. He quickly steadied himself and turned. When he raised his hand and touched the back of his head, his fingertips were covered in blood.

His face instantly turned dark. He grabbed a pole from someone and hurled it at Huo Yao right away. "How dare you!"

Huo Yao smiled coldly. The moment the pole came towards her, she tilted sideways and stepped on the man's knees hard. The crisp sound of bones snapping could be heard as she struck the man hard with the stick in her hand.

The man promptly fell onto the ground.

His subordinates finally snapped out of their shock.. They came swarming towards Huo Yao with weapons in their hands.
