"Has the lawyer been taken care of?" One of the men looked at Li Zhensheng and probed.

Li Zhensheng took a puff of his cigar and said nonchalantly, "He is probably half dead by now."

"He is a top lawyer. Won't it attract unnecessary trouble by teaching him a lesson?"

Li Zhensheng glanced at the man and scoffed. "He is just an insignificant lawyer without any background. Even if he dies, we have plenty of excuses. We can tell people he died from overworking or that he committed suicide from depression."

Huo Yao overheard their conversation when she got to the door. She smiled even more intensely on hearing this.

Huo Yao did not even bother looking at the bodyguards. She entered the hall unhurriedly with a nonchalant smile on her face. After placing a foot on the coffee table, she lowered her body slightly. She looked at Li Zhensheng sitting at the main seat. "Who do you plan on killing?"

Li Zhensheng's eyes constricted warily the moment he made eye contact with Huo Yao. Coldness promptly trickled down his spine as he looked at her solemnly. "Who are you?"

Huo Yao laughed coldly. In an instant, she grabbed a wine bottle nearby, stepped over the coffee table, and approached the man. She smashed the wine bottle on Li Zhensheng's head hard. Blood coursed down his forehead instantly covering half his face.

The two ladies serving him ran off screaming.

A jarring pain came from his head as blood flowed down and nearly got into his eyes. Li Zhensheng finally snapped out of his shock. He reached his hand behind him and wanted to retrieve his gun.

Before he was able to move, Huo Yao kicked him in the chest viciously. She pointed the broken wine gla.s.s at his neck artery. "Who do you plan on killing huh?"

All Li Zhensheng could see was blood. The only other thing he could see clearly was her murderous eyes. He trembled. "Who… who are you?"

As the broken gla.s.s bottle cut him on the neck, Li Zhensheng could sense blood trickling down. His eyes were filled with shock. "Do you know who I am? How dare you touch me? Do you want to die?"

Huo Yao held the gla.s.s bottle against his neck even harder. Blood flowed down even more quickly. Li Zhensheng felt giddy and was incapable of screaming any longer.

Li Zhensheng inadvertently looked behind Huo Yao and saw Yang Yi walking over angrily. Li Zhensheng's eyes promptly opened in shock.

Li Zhensheng forgot about the pain he was suffering. His eyes opened in shock on witnessing the sight. He said in a trembling voice, "Hi, Mr. Yang."
