“I have already sent for dinner and it should be here soon.” Min Yu removed the white gloves he was wearing. He noticed Huo Yao looking at the things on the table behind him. “Are you interested?”

Huo Yao veered her eyes and replied nonchalantly. “Nope.”

Min Yu raised his brow. “What are you interested in then? Just money?”

Huo Yao quietly glanced at him. “Do I look like a materialistic woman to you?”

Min Yu shook his head and agreed. “Fine. My bad.”

Min Yu’s phone rang as it sat on the table, so he turned to retrieve his phone. When he saw the caller ID, his hands paused briefly before he told Huo Yao he had to take the call and walked out of the bas.e.m.e.nt.

Huo Yao stood where she was for a few seconds and looked at the weapon parts on the table along with a diagram by the side.

She walked over slowly. When she saw the structure on the diagram, her eyes opened wide in surprise.

This diagram seemed unusually advanced.

Huo Yao raised her head and glanced at the door as she contemplated. She veered her eyes and looked at the half-done a.s.sembly on the table. He was two-third done putting together the weapon.

Judging from the parts on the table, Min Yu had yet to figure out how to a.s.semble this.

Huo Yao leaned against the table and reached her hand out to go through the tiny parts on the table.

A few minutes later, Min Yu came back after answering the phone. He paid no attention to the parts lying on the table and simply said to Huo Yao, “Dinner is here. Let’s go eat first.”
