Her English teacher nodded in agreement and said, “That’s true.”

“Not even for the sake of a $100,000 scholars.h.i.+p?” asked the Princ.i.p.al with raised eyebrows.

This was definitely a big temptation.

Huo Yao cleared her throat and turned towards her English teacher. “On second thoughts, my spoken English is pretty good. Why don’t you count me in?”

It was the English Teacher’s turn to become speechless, “...”

“Then it’s done,” said the Princ.i.p.al, without looking at the astounded English teacher.

He said to Huo Yao, “Come with me to my office.”

Saying so, he walked out. Huo Yao nodded politely to her English teacher before trailing behind the Princ.i.p.al.

The English teacher finally recovered from the weird conversation and exhaled deeply.
