Huo Yao nodded. “What does that have to do with you? As her daughter, you did not think twice to use her. How could you have the cheek to do that?

He Xiaoman quickly realized that her mother must have called Huo Yao.

Huo Yao flicked her fingers and appeared impatient. “I didn’t come to listen to your bulls.h.i.+t. If you have a heart, then stop trying to manipulate an old lady using those ploys you learned in the Lu family. She is getting on her age and should just be left in peace to enjoy her retirement.”

The moment she finished her sentence, she turned to leave.
