Chapter 1386: Help Me Take a Bath, Darling (2)
If Li Qingcang had not appeared then, she would not have known that he was still alive.
“You are such a daring girl. You’ve just learned the skill yet you dared to perform the surgery.”
Li Qingcang found out from his own sources the risk of such a procedure. His heart skipped a beat when he saw the live broadcast.
He did not expect Ye Tianxin to be so bold and take such a risk.
She performed the surgery without ever stopping to think of the risk for a second.
“Actually, it’s not true. If it’s any other operation, I can afford to think. My mom just taught me how to treat such a condition. Besides, under such circ.u.mstances, I wasn’t thinking of anything else. If I didn’t intervene, Wales would have died. My Golden Partridge award would have been deemed as unlucky. It brought misfortune to the presenter. That was a bad sign.”
Ye Tianxin smelled as sweet as a peach in the hot water.
The scent permeated the room and went straight into Li Qingcang’s nose.
Li Qingcang had always been a man with strong resolute.
Today, he felt his perseverance weakening. His usual unwavering self seemed to be faltering in the bathroom.
Ye Tianxin held a pink bath sponge in front of Li Qingcang.
She said softly, “Darling, can you please help me bathe?”
Li Qingcang did not dare to move. He stood rooted on the ground, his limbs frozen.
He could feel his whole body on fire.
Normally, he had enough self-control to suppress his desires, but he knew he might explode anytime now.
He was afraid that his desires would erupt and that he would soon attack Ye Tianxin with all his might. By then, he would ravish her to the point when he could no longer control himself.
“Erm, okay.”
Li Qingcang took the sponge and bent over to squeeze out some shower gel on it.
Taking a long deep breath, he closed his eyes and rubbed Ye Tianxin’s back with the sponge.
Li Qingcang was a man.
His movements were forceful and somewhat hard and Ye Tianxin’s soft and delicate skin.
After some time, red patches appeared on his body from his over-zealous rubbing.
“Darling, softer. It’s painful.”
Those words rang in Li Qingcang’s ears and he opened his eyes wide. He was horrified at what he had done.
There were red patches on Ye Tianxin’s smooth and fair back.
No wonder she was squirming softly in pain.
He had rubbed her too hard.
“Sorry.”
Li Qingcang felt helpless.
It was his first time. He did not know how to rub her back with less force.
He did not expect Ye Tianxin’s skin to be so delicate.
“It will be fine after you practice doing it a few more times.” Ye Tianxin a.s.sured him gently.
Li Qingcang had been a fearless boy since young. He was like a tyrant, bull-dozing his way through to get whatever he wanted. Nothing was ever daunting to him.
Now, he felt that he was afraid to do something for the first time in his life.
He feared hurting Ye Tianxin while helping her bathe.
He was afraid of hurting her and causing her skin to be all swollen and red.
He was afraid that she would feel pain with his touch.
“You’d better take a bath yourself.”
Li Qingcang took a long breath and decided that he could not stay in the bathroom any longer.
What if he could not control himself?
He had a disturbed look on his face.
He was struggling hard with himself.
Ye Tianxin turned around and looked at Li Qingcang’s face with an innocent look. She did not know what he was thinking at that moment.
