Even as it listened to Chi Jiao’s gentle tone, the mirror spirit could sense that her smile was filled with murderous intent.

“I really don’t like children who lie. I have some medicine here. If you lie, you will have a severe stomach ache after drinking it. Take this medicine now.” Chi Jiao took out a bottle from the bedside table and poured out a pill for the mirror spirit.

“Stop crying.” Quan Jue’s head ached from the noise the mirror spirit was making. He frowned at it.
“Wah…” The mirror spirit immediately stopped crying and looked at them with red eyes.
“I just cooked something for you. Why don’t you go downstairs and eat first?” Quan Jue had planned to go back to his room to wait for Chi Jiao, but he realized that she must have not slept the entire night, so he cooked her favorite seafood noodle dish.
Chi Jiao didn’t realize how hungry she was. Her stomach gurgled the moment he mentioned food. So, she nodded immediately.
When they reached the dining room, Quan Jue brought the noodles over for Chi Jiao.
She picked up her chopsticks impatiently and put a fishball in her mouth.
The tender and bouncy fishball was a little too hot, but it tasted really good. Chi Jiao narrowed her eyes in satisfaction.
