Xing Jiuan did not answer.

The night breeze was a little strong. There were clearly many people around, but it was surprisingly quiet.

"Go back and have a good rest. We'll meet if there's a chance," Xing Jiuan replied.

"Little Aunt is so cool. She defeated three bad guys by herself," Huo Xiaoxiao said excitedly, as if she regarded Xing Jiuan as her idol.

It was already very late when they reached home.

When the Huo parents returned to their bedroom, neither of them could fall asleep.

Huo Chulan had waited for them for a long time at home. When they returned, she washed some fruits and brought them over. She knocked on their door.

Madam Huo walked over to open the door. "Chulan, what's the matter?"

"Dad, Mom, you came back so late. I washed some fruits…"
