Liam's heart pounded in excitement as he saw the little furry creature shaking her head again. "Violet, are you sure? Did you pick this one up at the tower? When?"

Seraphina led them to one of the rooms upstairs. Seeing the serious expression on Liam's face, she was very nervous. "Did something happen to the fox, my Lord?"

Liam nodded. He then lifted Luna to reveal the small fox. She was sleeping comfortably on his hands, looking very weak and fragile.

It would be difficult for anyone to believe that this was the same fox who had repeatedly thrown herself in danger to protect Liam.
