Sir Bellings had a bead of sweat drip down the side of his face as he stood there. He was waiting for the light to flicker back on. He stood there with his arms crossed across his chest and his foot tapping impatiently. As for Bi Ling, she had already jumped back up on top of the giant teddy bear's head and began playing cards with Mei Ling again. Kana had broken out a campire set with chairs and began roasting meat.

A few hours pa.s.sed, and Sir Bellings still refused to give up waiting. If he actually gave up and admitted to the little girl breaking the light, then he would look like an idiot! He had just said she could not break it! So he was determined to wait for the light to come back on!

The two instructors waiting at the second test, a middle aged man and the other a young woman, were starting to get impatient. "Why is the strength test taking so long? Did everyone fail?"

"That is impossible. Sir Bellings is a righteous person. Even if the light flickers a tiny bit, he would pa.s.s them. Let's just wait a little longer." The young woman replied.

"Shenia, you are always sticking up for Sir Bellings. Do you have the hots for him or something?" The middle aged man asked with a cheeky grin causing Shenia to blush.

"I just think he is an upright man, plus it is well known that I like females. Anyway, XY-89 why are you even here? Normally you refuse to leave your lab. What made you want to oversee the tests?" Shenia asked.

"Probably the same reason most of us agreed. The woman close to his excellency is here to take the tests to get admitted to the academy. From what I understand, she arrived in Aurora in a huge s.h.i.+p far ahead of anything my clan has been able to create thus far." XY-89 replied.

"But still, it has been five hours now. Should we go and check on the situation?" Shenia asked. She was truly getting worried that something had happened.

"You can go. I will guard the second test. We do not want any mishaps." XY-89 smiled and waved Shenia off so she could go check on things. He was also getting sick of waiting here. If it was not for the fact that he wanted to meet that girl, he would not even be here. He would prefer to be in his lab doing his things like always.

Shenia quickly ran over to the strength testing stage and found Sir Bellings standing there, tapping his foot off the ground, looking very gloomy. "Sir Bellings, what is going on?"

"I am waiting for the light to flicker back on." Sir Bellings snapped in reply. He was not trying to be mean, but he was starting to feel like the d.a.m.n light really did break!

"Uh…." Shenia was confused. She looked around at the spot where the light should be, but sure enough, it was gone. "What happened? Why did it disappear?"

"Go, fis.h.!.+" A small yet cute voice was heard coming from above Shenia. She looked up to see two little girls playing some weird game on top of a giant teddy bear's head.

"Sister Bi, are you cheating again!? How is it you only have two cards, and I have three!?" Mei Ling was always willing to call Bi Ling out when she tried to cheat at cards. Bi Ling pursed her lips and moved her fingers, revealing another card that was 'stuck' to the back of another card. She smacked her head as she said: "Oh would you look at that! Here you go!" Bi Ling could only pout. She had lost again!

"What happened was the little girl losing the game she is playing had punched the light." Sir Bellings replied to Shenia's question with a long sigh. "So now we are waiting for it to turn back on."

"No… Sir Bellings, that light will only flicker. It will never go completely out. There is something wrong with the light. Did she break it?" Shenia asked.

"Absolutely not! There is no way!" Sir Bellings refused to admit it! There was no way a little girl could break the light of the strength tests! Billions of years have pa.s.sed, and this light has always been here!

"But…." Shenia wanted to say more, but her eyes landed on a cold faced looking beauty. Shenia's eyes lit up as her body flashed, and she arrived in front of Soli, who was sitting there with her eyes closed. "Miss… May I know your name?"

"....." Silence filled the area. Kana looked up at the new person who had just arrived and then looked at Yana, who was just about to take a bite of her meat, and chuckled. It seemed her daughter would need to show everyone that her wife was not for other people hit on. Kana decided she would not step in unless she was asked.

"Miss?" Shenia couldn't stop herself from wanting to reach out and tuck the loose lock of hair on Soli's face that was draped over her eyes to get a better look at the ice beauty. But before her hand could even touch a strand of hair, a delicate white hand grabbed Shenia's wrist. "What the h.e.l.l are you doing?"

"Me? I am just trying to a.s.sist the beautiful lady here with her hair. What is it to you?" Shenia did not sense anything off, but she suddenly felt a striking pain in her wrist as the other girl began squeezing it tighter. She raised her third arm and quickly went to grab the wrist, holding her first arm, only to have to quickly dodge when a sword suddenly sliced down in front of her. But because her wrist was being held, she could not move far and was off balance. Before she knew it, a foot was being shoved into her abdomen.
