Chapter 148: Water Dragon Body

"Aoi, it is not that I do not want to let you out, but every time I go to cla.s.s, you cry about being all alone. But for the next month, you can be with me without needing to be confined in your summon s.p.a.ce. " Kana was doing her best to appease the little water elemental. She had found out from Aoi that when she was de-summoned, She would be sent to a s.p.a.ce that could be considered Aoi's personally little home. It was not like some dark black s.p.a.ce or solid white s.p.a.ce either. From what Aoi said, it could be considered a small little world where elementals could reside and take in the elements around them.

In a way, it should be considered a paradise for elementals, but for Aoi, it is like a prison. After being alone for so many long years, she hated being by herself and was overly attached to Kana. So any time she was forced to be stuck in the summon s.p.a.ce, she couldn't help but feel lonely and miss Kana. In a way, in an elemental's life cycle, Aoi was still just a child.

"Fine..." Aoi pouted her lip, still feeling a bit aggrieved for the mistreatment. But she knew Kana was very good to her.

"Aoi, can you make a water mirror for me. Now that I am in a place that is concealed from peering eyes, I want to see what my water dragon form is like." Kana asked as she opened up her menu.

"Mmmm…. Fine..." Aoi, who was still pouting, waved her hand, and a large screen of water appeared. It solidified into a s.h.i.+ny reflective surface that reflected back both her and Kana's image.

"Thank you, Aoi! You are the best!" Kana said, trying to pull Aoi out of her pouty mood. It seemed to work because Aoi let out a giggle as she held her little cheeks in embarra.s.sment from the praise.

"Here goes nothing!" Kana switched her element over to water dragon making her hair turn the color blue, and then said: "[Transform]!"

Kana's body s.h.i.+ned with a bluish light as she shrank down in size. When the light dimmed, what was revealed was not what Kana was expecting. In the water mirror reflecting back at her was a semi transparent dragon that had flowing water like skin. It was much different from what she had imagined. Although the form was somewhat the same, her horns changed slightly to be skinnier than before, and her ears now looked like two fins. When she poked her arm, her finger merged into it as if pa.s.sing through the watery surface.

"Now this is interesting..." Kana spun around a few times as she looked at herself in the water mirror. "Sadly, the other form is still cuter, but this form is not bad. Aoi, what do you think?"

"Kana always looks cute!" Aoi said as she floated over and landed on top of Kana's head. She then submerged herself inside Kana's body and began swimming around. At this, Kana felt strange because she couldn't feel it at all.

"Well, let's see how powerful my attack is." Kana looked around and picked a group of trees not too far from her. "[Water Breath]!"

A stream of highly pressurized water arched out as it shot out of Kana's mouth, hitting the trees slicing the whole group and the trees behind them in two. When Kana stopped the spray of water, she watched as the trees collapsed and fell to the ground. She had cleared out about half a kilometer long in a cone.

Multiple dings were sounding off inside Kana's head as her water dragon level began to rise like a rocket. 1,2,3,6,10,12. Instantly she went from level 0 water dragon to a level 12 water dragon. Her water breath had killed hundreds of monsters in a single attack. When adding in the experience buff due to this place being a magic realm, Kana gained a ton of XP quickly.

"Not bad… I got a tone of extra [Status Points]. Where to allot them I am unsure yet… I will wait until after I return to the academy to decide. Lets see how far I can get with my current stats." Kana still had no idea that her current stats were absolutely insane.

"Alright I guess I will see if I can get the last eight levels for my water dragon so I can get to my next evolutions stage." Kana looked around and picked a radon direction to walk in. Her main goals were not to search for anything like the academy asked but to level up. She wanted to level up as much as she could and hopefully evolve her water dragon form.

As Kana made her way through the dense jungle Aoi was swimming around inside her body having the time of her life. To her, Kana's water dragon body was the best playground. The jungle was very hot and humid. To a beastkin or human that walked around such a place they would already be sweating away or eaten alive by the buggs. Although Kana did have bugs land on her she could easily adjust her body to flick it away.

This was one of the unique features of the water dragon body. If she concentrated enough she could control every aspect of her body this included making a third or fourth arm appear from her body any place she wished. The strange thing was that it came naturally to her but it still felt weird to have a few extra arms all of a sudden.

As Kana continued on she finally came to a clearing in the jungle with a large pond. Now with the beautiful scenery around this pond it would be a nice place to sit back and relax but in front of her was a group of large flowers. Except these flowers were uprooted and walking around. And in the middle of the petals was a large mouth with rows of sharp teeth and a strange green substance flowing out of it.
