By the creed of the realm of G.o.ds, you are only allowed to meddle in the worlds under your domain. I will overlook the fact that you blessed someone from a world not under your control. But you have to remember your place." The Fox High G.o.d Methiesee smiled as he tapped the paper fan in his hand on his shoulder before opening it.

"Heh… You beastkins really think highly of yourselves. Just because you have lived longer lives than us humans, that does not mean you are all powerful. Many worlds with beastkin on it are enslaved by my human race, and there is nothing they can do about it. The supposed world you are talking about was about to become such a place as well. You're scared of us humans because we advance too fast. Do you not think I do not know what goes on in your little heads. Your rule over the realm of G.o.ds is becoming smaller and smaller. Humans from other worlds are advancing faster and faster every pa.s.sing millennium. Now our numbers are almost the same as you beastkin. Let me tell you that I do know about your involvement with Xeneria in the past. I know you helped the humans get rid of the dragon race. I nor my superiors made an issue of the subject due to it being a mortal world and keeping the peace between our two sides. The Fox High G.o.d Methiesee bared his teeth, with a flash, he disappeared and reappeared on top of the human's desk and grabbed the human by the collar of his robes as he threatened: "Overstep your bounds, and me and my kin will risk it all to kill every human in the realm of G.o.ds without a second thought."

The human sneered and forced the Fox High G.o.d Methiesee's hands away: "You make such big threats but do the ones above you agree?"

"Why wouldn't we agree? Did Methiesee not make himself clear?" A thunderous voice filled the sky as a great pressure weighed down on all humans in the area. Although this was the human's domain within the realm of G.o.ds, which was millions of kilometers away from the beastkin domain, the power was not weakened at all. And the cause of this power was deep within the beastkin domain.

"You have a lot of nerve, you old goat!" Another thunderous voice was heard booming throughout the sky.

"Then teach your little fledglings the rules of the realm of G.o.ds. If he interferes with one of our worlds again, I will do more than just send a warning. Remember this old man… You, humans, are not ready to fight for anything within the realm of G.o.ds. If this happens again, I will annex half your domain..." The voice slowly faded away, and the pressure on the humans in the area slowly dissipated. But the words that were left behind were not just a warning but a full pledge threat.

The Fox High G.o.d Methiesee stood there with his head held high as he looked at the human in front of him. "As you can see, we beastkin are always one mind. Although there are bad eggs, even those bad eggs will rise to the occasion if need be. Do not let me find out you meddled again." The Fox High G.o.d Methiesee waved his hand and made a few hand signs that slowly created runic symbols in the air that began to surround him. Seconds later, in a flash of light, he was gone from where he stood.

After the Fox High G.o.d Methiesee disappeared, an old man appeared in the room. "Bear with it for now. Right now, we humans are not ready to get into a full out war with the beastkin. That young high G.o.d said it right. They are of one mind when it counts the most. Just to get where we are today was already a struggle. Plus, if we went to war with the beastkin, we would need to worry about the other races that are fully aligned with them. We can not risk anything just yet until we have ama.s.sed enough strength."

The human looked at the old man and reluctantly nodded his head. "Grandfather, when the time comes, I want to be the one to kill that d.a.m.n fox. Methiesee has always acted as if he is superior to me in every way. I want to step on his face and crush his bones as I give him a painful death."
