Kana only felt intense pain spread throughout her entire body. She had expected this to be painful but never this painful. The pain wreaked havoc on her mind. It was as if something was taking every cell her brain was made up of and squeezing it to the point of where it would pop if squeezed any more. What seemed like an eternity to Kana was only half a minute. By the time the pain began to subside, Kana was drenched in sweat. She stood limply as she breathed heavily.

Old Sir lowered his head apologetically. He did not wish Kana harm or to feel such intense pain, but this was something that had to be done.

"It's fine..." Kana finally spoke as she stood up. "Not having to call out spell names or use chants is already worth the pain I felt just now." Kana said, wiping the sweat from her forehead. Creige came over and took off his s.h.i.+rt and put it on Kana to cover up her sweat soaked clothes. Kana smiled as she said: "Thank you."

Kana then looked up at Old Sir and asked: "Do you mind if I take a break. After going through that I need to rest for a bit."

"That is fine. Use any of the rooms in the tower. They have all been a magic formation set up to keep them clean. There is also a room with a large bath as well. When you are ready to take on the last trial, come back to this room." Old Sir explained before disappearing.

Kana grabbed Creige's hand and pulled him along as she headed towards the baths. "Come Creige, let's go bathe."

The two entered a large bathroom that was already steamy from the hot water in the large bath that was big enough to fit twenty people. Kana did not hesitate to strip off all her clothes before turning around and hooking her finger into the hem of Creige's pants. "Hehe..." Kana gave a cheeky grin as she slipped Creige's pants off. She then slid her body up his, hooked her hands around his neck, and pulled herself up so she could wrap her legs around his waist.

"If you do this, I might not be able to resist." Creige whispered in Kana's ear.

"Then don't resist?" Kana replied as she pushed her lips against his. Creige brought her right to the bath and got in. The two's bodies intertwined, causing the already steamy room to steam up even more.

After a hot and steamy bath, Kana sat in Creige's lap while he dried her hair. She felt much better now that she had released some pent up frustrations. She rubbed her belly and smiled gently. She wondered when she would finally find out if she was pregnant or not. Leaning her head back, so it pressed against Creige's chest, Kana looked up at him with her pitch black abyssal eyes, her expression soft. "Criege, do you want a boy or girl first?"

"I do not care. As long as it is a child born from you and I, it can be any s.e.x, and I would be happy." Creige answered honestly. This was also the reason why he bought clothes for both s.e.xes.

"I kind of hope for a little girl first. I want to raise a daughter who will never have to worry about when she will eat next or have to hide from the horrors of the world. You know Creige, I found out my life in my past life was nothing more than something out of my control. All the suffering I had to deal with was due to a higher power needing me to die." Kana curled up into Creige's lap and nuzzled her nose into Creige's chest. She went on to explain to him everything she had found out, on how she did not know if any of it was true or not. She explained to him what her new goal was and why she wished to build such a large family.

Creige listened silently as she told him everything she experienced when she disappeared. He almost wanted to tear time and s.p.a.ce to go back to h.e.l.l and find the old hag that caused Kana so much grief in her past life. But he would never do anything like that unless Kana asked him to. Instead, he could only hug her and rest his chin on top of her head as he spoke warmly: "No matter what we face in the future, we will face it together."

"Mmm… We should get going. I want to get this third test over with." Kana listed her head and kissed Creige's cheek before standing up. Only after Creige got up as well did the two head back to the main room.

"Are you ready?" Old Sir asked.

"Yes." Kana replied firmly. "As ready as I can get."

"Then I will send you on your way. This next test is the test of one's mind." As Old Sir finished speaking, Kana's vision went dark. Creige hurriedly caught Kana, who slumped over into his arms.

Creige looked at Old Sir, confused as to what was going on. He heard the old man say he was sending Kana someplace, but instead, she collapses. "She is fine physically. She now needs to battle the things that she hides deep in her heart. The things she fears the most. Whether she pa.s.ses or not is up to her. Either way, even if she fails, she will be pulled back to here. So do not worry, nothing will happen to her."
