"Who are you calling a pet!?" Lizzy huffed. It never thought after being at the top of the food chain in this forest that was surrounded by a barrier that a day would come when someone would try to force it to become their pet.

"Huh? What crazy things are you yelling about? Didn't I just name you? That makes you may pet come on, let's go!" Kana said as she tugged on a vine rope, she made that was made from four thick vines twisted together. The other end of this vine rope? It was neatly wrapped around Lizzy's neck, making a wonderful collar.

Lizzy suddenly felt a tug on its neck, causing Lizzy's lizard face to pale. 'This d.a.m.n monster put a collar on me!' "No! I will not be a pet!'

"Huh? Are you still on about that? But that's not for you to decide. I decide these things. It's not like you can escape me. Just be my pet for the next few months, and you will be free." Kana said, not caring anymore if the lizard had anything else to say.

As for Lizzy, it wanted to cry. It was trying so hard to resist. It even dug its sharp claws into the cave floor but one tug from this monster, and it was easily dragged outside the cave. After only a few minutes of resistance, Lizzy gave up and obediently allowed Kana to lead it along.

"Senior Miyu, can you pinch me? Is it just me, or did Kana just turn that monstrosity into a pet?"

"Mmm.." Senior Miyu reached over and pinched Instructor Sh.e.l.ly as hard as she could.

"Ouch! So I am not dreaming!" Instructor Sh.e.l.ly did not know what to believe anymore. In her line of work, she knew about many things the world governments were trying to hide. This included things from the monsters here to things of the unexplained. But one thing she knew was that even a nuke could not kill the monster that was now currently being led around on a leash by the little girl who she had been in charge of. "Should we notify the higher ups?"

"Already have. This little girl has a bright future ahead of her. They hope to train her more once she finishes here. Our boss himself will be making a visit in the next few days to check on the girl himself. If everything goes right, she will be sent to train with the special forces to learn military tactics." Senior Miyu replied.

Hearing that their boss was coming caused Instructor Sh.e.l.ly to blush."He's really coming!? I better go freshen up!"

Senior Miyu let out a laugh as she reached out and grabbed Instructor Sh.e.l.ly. "Sit down. It won't be for a few days."

"Oh..." Instructor Sh.e.l.ly blushed even more, seeing how she overreacted. But she couldn't help it. Their boss was handsome. He was not even thirty yet and was already in control of the organization. All the females in the organization were gunning for that spot to become his girlfriend. It is said that he was still single.

"You better try hard when he shows up. That little girl has turned into a beauty the past few days. Although she has some extra parts, she is still very beautiful." Senior Miyu smiled teasingly at Instructor Sh.e.l.ly.

"Ngh… I will try my best..." Instructor Sh.e.l.ly couldn't deny that Kana was very beautiful.

Back in the forest, Kana was slowly walking back to her treehouse at a leisurely pace snacking on the roasted bird she saved. "So Lizzy, you seem to know a lot about humans. How come?"

"Because those d.a.m.n inferiors had created me. Since the day I opened my eyes, I could speak and understand things. So I know a lot about them. To be honest, humans taste nasty. I prefer to just burn them to death." Lizzy said, snorting coldly. It seemed to have an issue with humans.

"Yeah, humans do taste nasty, but when you need to use your teeth, you need to use your teeth. My masters told me that when fighting, as a dragon, your claws, tail, and teeth are your most lethal weapons." Kana explained.

"Mm… this is true… But wait, you said dragon?" Lizzy caught on to this word alone.

"Yeah. I am a dragon. This is my human form... I have another form as well, but for some reason, something in my mind is keeping me from transforming." Kana frowned. She still felt a mental block on a few things. She hoped over time it would disappear.

"Oh?" Lizzy rolled its eyes. 'This one is crazy...'

"Anyway. When we reach my camp, I will need to build you a shelter. You are way too big to fit in my house." Kana said while nodding her head. She would not treat her pets badly! She will make Lizzy a nice big dog house.

Standing in the main hall by the pedestal, Old Sir looked down at Creige, who seemed to be somewhat angry. "It has already been a full day, and she is still asleep."

"I know. This trial takes time. For her, more than a month has already pa.s.sed. Unless she comes out of the trial herself, we can do nothing." Old Sir knew Creiges concerns, but his hands were tied. This was Kana's choice.

Creige gritted his teeth and clenched his fist. He never felt so powerless in his entire life! He did not say a word as he turned around and walked back to the room where Kana was peacefully lying on the bed. He walked over to her and tucked a lock of her behind her ear. His eyes were warm and full of concern. "I will figure out a way to keep you alive until you finish your trial..."

Creige's biggest concern was Kana's health deteriorating. If she went too long without food and water she would definitely die. Unlike him who was already a demi G.o.d who could go a year without food Kana was still considered in the mortal realm. Too long without food or water could kill her.
