Chapter 504: Meet In The Sea Of Stars

As time went on, Kana got better at magic and even discovered she could take on a humanoid form. This new discovery was big to Kana because it allowed her to sneak into human villages to get a few items that people happily 'donated'. Even if they were not taken under the best of conditions, Kana still had to do it for Bell's sake.

The days and weeks had turned to months, and in a flash, Bell was now fourteen. Although she was fourteen now, she still looked twelve since she had stopped growing altogether. Her vampire blood had something to do with this.

Kana had trained Bell in both her forms allowing her to get used to both monster and human combat. Sometimes in the middle of a fight, Bell was forced to quickly adjust to the situation since Kana would suddenly transform from human into her 'lizard' form and then back. Sometimes she would even toss out some spells to really keep Bell on her toes.

After almost six years of this kind of training, Bell had become very good at combat using a sword. So much so that she would be the one to go out and hunt animals three times her size to keep up their meat supply. At least once a day, Bell also required blood which Kana allowed Bell to suck her own blood by cutting open her arm. Bell had fully taken Kana as her mother, and the two were happy living in their cave home. They had everything and more that one could ask for.

The only thing that concerned Kana was that she could only do so much to help Bell prepare for the world around her. Although she may look human, she was still a half-vampire from what she understood.

On the day after the two had celebrated Bell's fourteen birthday, Kana decided it was time to venture out into this world and head to the kingdom of Fandel. The place where Bell's birth mother was supposedly taken too. "Mama, are we really going to do this? I mean, we worked so hard on this home I would hate to leave it."

"You do not wish to find out what happened to your birth mother?" Kana asked as she did up Bell's hair.

"Although she had raised me for eight years and gave me so much love, she still chose to leave me with you instead of leaving with us. She may have done it to protect me, but the love I once had for her has all but disappeared. The only mother I recognize is my Mama!" Bell said with a big smile as she hugged Kana tightly. "You have been there for me and taken care of me even though I am not your own blood. There is no longer anyone in this world who can replace my mama."

Kana had tears well up in her eyes as she hugged Bell back. She felt bad for Melinda, but she had made her choice. Kana was sure she could have left with the both of them. They could have easily lived on together as a family, but as Bell said, she had made her choice back then. Whether that was the right choice or not, Kana did not know. She only knew that Bell was now her daughter, and she would protect her with everything she had.

During these past six years back in the realm of G.o.ds. Creige had turned into a completely different person. "d.a.m.n it! Creige, you will not get away with this!"

"It is not up to you what I can get away with since you have no ability to go against my word. As of this moment, the entirety of the realm of G.o.ds is under my control, and as of now, you will all be protectors for my daughters." Creige looked down at the one hundred most powerful people of the realm of G.o.ds and waved his hands. One hundred magic circles appeared and shot into these powerful people. Each one of them began to scream out in pain as these magic circles burned into their souls. They were brands that made those who had one follow the command of the one whom they got it from. "Let me repeat myself. My three daughters Yana, Rain, and Angelica, will be under your protection. Let them grow up safely and follow their dreams. Do you understand?"

"Yes, Master!" With their souls branded, they could only bow and accept Creige as their master.

After settling matters and sending the power people out to find his daughters and protect them, Creige looked up at the sky and let out a long sigh. "Six years… Six years pa.s.sed, and no word. Lysarith has said she is doing fine, but there was no real way of knowing. I guess it is time for me to advance to the next realm now that my girls will be safe. They are over twenty now after all..."

He felt sad because he did not know if he would ever be able to return here. Once he ascended to become a voidling, he would have to work hard to quickly unseal more of his strength. He would continue to work hard until he reached the sea of stars once again. "Kana, my love, I will always be waiting no matter how many years pa.s.s. I will wait for you and if I have to… I will win your heart once more. I don't give up easily, as you know." Creige kissed his finger that once had their marriage mark on it and was about to vanish in a stream of light to go to the next plane when a voice came from behind him. "Handsome Papa, that's not fair, you know."

He turned to see Angelica, all grown up and now a beautiful young woman. "You came..."

"Mmm…. Rain wanted to come, but she is about to give birth. She ended up finding someone she fell in love with and settled down. Yana went off on her own journey, and I have no idea if she is alive or dead. It is just me who really understands everything and has been working hard to level up. Handsome Papa, you may be advancing to the next realm first, but I will not be far behind you. I will meet you in the sea of stars, and we can meet Mama together."
