The birth of a new G.o.ddess is at hand. I will put a barrier around this s.h.i.+p to isolate it from everything until she finishes her evolution."

"So the G.o.ddess of life is dead… " Aruya was a little shocked, but a smile formed on her face since she knew that the old man had just given her master a power boost. "I will watch over her."

"Mm… Good. I will take my leave." The old man said before patting Aruya on the head and disappearing.

Aruya looked at the egg on the bed and smiled warmly at it before taking the cloth to the side and gently wiping it off. "We can't let that old b.a.s.t.a.r.d's germs affect you in any way."

Inside, the egg body that was once forming completely broke down and began taking on a new form. Kana was in a deep, dreamless sleep. Only when her body fully reformed would she finally finish evolving.

One month turned into many years. This addition of the G.o.ddess of life's inheritance had caused Kana's evolution to take much longer. After almost sixty years, Bell was busy wiping the egg down for its daily bath when a cracking sound was heard. Bell panicked and quickly jumped back and called for help. "Grandma! I think I broke Mama!"

"What!?" Lysairth quickly ran into the room to see the egg was starting to crack and began to laugh. "You silly girl! Your Mama's evolution has finally finished. She is hatching."

Bell blushed and lowered her head in embarra.s.sment as she said: "Oh..." She had never seen an evolution before, so this was all new to her. So when the egg suddenly cracked while she was cleaning it, she thought it was her fault.

"Just stay back near me. We do not know what will happen when she exits the egg." Lysairth was saying this so that no accidents would happen. Mainly because Kana was such an oddity and did things in weird ways, she did not want Kana's power to accidentally kill her own daughter.

As the egg cracked more, a hand with pearly white skin stretched out, bursting the top half of the egg right off. A young woman around eighteen to twenty years of age used her arm to prop her head up on the edge of the eggsh.e.l.l and looked at the two people standing there looking dumbfounded. She smiled sweetly and asked: "Did you miss me?"

Kana did not exit the eggsh.e.l.l just yet. She first lazily stretched out her arms, trying to adjust to her new body. She had grown a lot, although her chest was still… Modest... She looked down and pouted a bit but only for a few seconds. She could at least tell that she was now older once more.

"Mama?" Bell called out as she looked at the young woman in the eggsh.e.l.l, checking herself out. She was rubbing her eyes because she was not sure if she was seeing things correctly. Her Mama's current form was much different than before!

Kana turned her head and smiled at Bell, and nodded her head. "The one and only. Although I guess I do not look like I used to. But this is more suitable. Although It seems I have changed quite a bit. Anyway I guess I should get out of this egg."
