Elder Ning had just arrived when he heard Kana's sharp tongue causing him to almost fall out of the sky. He could only shake his head and bitterly smile. He was old as well and had wrinkles, but Elder Ye was someone who looked like an old leather bag that had not been taken care of correctly. 

Elder Ye's finger froze in the air as he pointed at Kana. Not once since he became a core formation cultivator has anyone cursed him like this. He was completely speechless. His mouth was opening and closing, but no words were coming out. His face was turning bright red. It seemed Kana had really hit one of his sore spots. He knew he had more wrinkles than others his age, but there was nothing he could do about it. Just to reach the core formation realm he had to waste many years of his life. But even still, he was still a G.o.dly core formation cultivator. To have a brat in the body fortification realm treat me like this was a huge slap to his face. 

"You! You're courting death! Get her!" Elder Ye yelled out. He wanted to smack this demon girl to death. But if he attacked a junior, then he would lose all face!

"Wait!" Kana suddenly yelled out. Causing the cultivators who were about to rush forward to stop. Kana had her arms stretched out in front of her, tears welling up in her eyes. She looked very pitiful. Along with how beautiful Kana was, it made those young men begin to feel like they were doing something wrong. But this feeling only lasted a few seconds. "I stubbed my toe… " 

Kana lifted her foot and began blowing on her big toe. The disciples from the law enforcement hall almost all tripped over their own two feet. They all stared at Kana in disbelief. Each one having the same thought. 'You're a peak body fortification cultivator, you know! Stubbing your toe wouldn't hurt, you know!' Even though they were thinking this, Kana was busy blowing on her toe and hopping around, looking very pitiful. 

"Haha! This girl is playing with them!" The Moon Crest Academy sect master let out a laugh. "I was right to come watch this. See Little Ning, even with Elder Ye's character of being domineering and aggressive, it does not faze this little girl one bit. He has only been able to say a few, words but this little girl is tripping him up every step of the way. Those law enforcement disciples are supposed to be attacking, but now they are not sure what they are supposed to do."

"Mm… I almost fell when I first got here hearing her sharp tongue." Elder Ning admitted. He was someone who was not embarra.s.sed easily, and in front of the sect master, he never hid anything.

"Haha! She is a character. I wonder how she will handle this situation." The sect master was eagerly awaiting to see what she would do. If he had to, he would intervene if she called out her divine beast, only if it was going to kill Elder Ye. Even if Elder Ye's character was bad, he still could not let him die just yet. He was still trying to gather the evidence needed to put him on trial. 

Elder Ye was like a roach that was sneaky and could come and go as he pleased. He had done many dirty deeds that many knew about, but no proof could be found pointing to him physically, making it very hard to bring up a case against him. While the sect master had the final say, he still had to follow the rules laid down since ancient times. If he broke the rules now, then the other elders would cause a fuss and maybe even try to vote him out of his position. 

"Ahh… That hurt… I swear stubbing your toe is the worst. Don't you guys think so?" Kana asked with a sly smile on her lips. She chuckled inwardly at the stupid expressions on these disciples' faces. "Now then… Where was I… Oh yeah! Mr. Wrinkles, why did you call me out? Just to let you know, I already have a husband, and he is very handsome without a single wrinkle. I am not one to like wrinkles or old men… So please leave. I am sorry I can't be with you. Maybe if fate allows it in a next life we can be together, but that will probably never happen either as I would just run and find my handsome husband. I mean, who would want to be with someone who was all wrinkly in their past life? That's just…. Anyway, have a good day, Mr. Wrinkles, don't stub your toe on the way out. It hurts like h.e.l.l." 

After saying this, Kana turned around and walked back into her house, not even looking at the old man's furious face. She couldn't care less how mad he was. She did not plan to play his games. She may have killed his people, but it was his people who were in the wrong. She knew if she followed that there would be no trial, she would be found guilty without being able to say a word edgewise. So there was no point in even entertaining him anymore.

"You! You stop right there!" Elder Ye yelled in rage. He was so mad he even stomped his feet. He was acting like a child who just had his favorite toy stolen. "Go drag that d.a.m.n demon girl out of that house! Kill her if you need to just bring her d.a.m.n head to me!"

"Are you sure you want to do that?" An old voice came from above. A figure floated down and landed in the courtyard. Lord Yong looked at Elder Ye with cold eyes. "Are you trying to harm someone under my care? Elder Ye you must have finally grown hair down there after so many hundreds of years for you to actually try to harm someone I am looking after." 

"L-L-Lord Yong!" Elder Ye began to sweat. He had no idea why this person was here. Lord Yong was known for being a person who was very hard to deal with.

"That is my name now that you know it, answer my question."
