Kana pursed her lips and hugged her handsome husband.  "Then do whatever you think is right." 

Creige smiled and kissed the top of Kana's head before looking at the old man. "Please give me the ability to cultivate the same as my family."

The old man nodded his head in satisfaction. "Then, Kana, I will need a drop of your blood." 

"Alright." Kana bit the tip of her finger and squeezed out a drop of her blood. It hovered in the air in front of her. With a wave of her hand, she sent it flying over to the old man. 

The old man took this blood, and with a gaze, the blood split up into many parts of thin hair like strands. "Creige, I will warn you that the process will be very painful."

"I understand." Creige was already ready for it to be painful. There was no way changing someone's bloodline would not be painful, even if it was only merging different bloodlines together and not actually replacing them.

"Then Kana, please step aside." The old man walked forward. Of the multiple strands floating in the air, two flew out. One was an orange color, while the other was a golden color. The old man waited for Kana to step aside, and to his surprise, she did not make a fuss as she walked away and stood next to her babies. 

With a wave of his hand, the two strands of blood shot towards Creige, and without him doing anything, a wound appeared on his hand, which the two strands of blood entered. Not even a second later, beads of sweat began to form on his forehead. Creige gritted his teeth and let out a low grunt. His fist clenched together, causing his fingernails to penetrate his skin. 

Creige did not want to yell out in pain. He did not wish to worry Kana, whose eyes were stuck on him. He wanted to get through this with pure stubbornness and determination. But as the seconds ticked by, the pain gradually grew worse. It was so bad that his gums were starting to bleed from how tightly he was clenching his teeth. 

Kana bit her bottom lip because she knew Creige was in a lot of pain. He may not look like it to others. To them, it may look like he was only experiencing a little pain, but Kana knew. She could see it in his eyes. She could see that the pain was unbearable. And what hurt her was that she could do nothing to help him. She could only stand to the side and watch him suffer.

Creige stood there like a statue, blood dripping from his hands and the corner of his mouth. But even so, he did not make more than a few grunts. Slowly but surely, the pain began to subside. Creige started to gain a bit of relief. But he could also feel new sources of power within him that were untapped. Power that, if he nurtured, he could easily wield himself. Although still in pain, the corner of his lips curled up slightly. This sight alone made Kana, who was tense this whole time, relax. Her handsome husband was okay. Everything was about to be over. 

As time ticked by, the pain finally disappeared, but Creige, who had been enduring the entire time, as soon as he relaxed his body, collapsed to the ground. "Creige!"

Kana ran over and caught Creige before he hit the ground. Her eyes were full of tears as she held him in her arms. She turned her head and looked at the old man for answers to see him smiling back at her. "Your husband is unlike any man I have ever seen. His determination alone shows just how much he is willing to sacrifice for you. The pain of having your bloodline changed for a demon is not something that any demon can take. To them, it is like ripping their souls out in the most vicious way possible and burning it in soul flame. But he withstood the pain and never let out a scream. He was even able to stay conscious all the way to the end. Kana, you are a very lucky woman."

"Humph! I knew that way before you even showed your fat face." Kana yelled out with a snort, causing the old man's smile to twitch. He thought he was pretty skinny! How was his face fat!?

"He will need to rest for a day. During this time, the rest of you should all work on cultivating spiritual qi. As for the G.o.d cores, you will need to find a place with what is called holy qi on this world. You will not find any such qi on the lower realms, so you will need to work hard to find it. And for your demon cores, there are quite a few places with demonic qi that you can cultivate in. The higher realms also have these places as well.

"I was planning on helping you with both, but now that I know all of you can form them, it would be best for you all to work together to find these locations. I think it will do you all good and will act as training. Except for Angelica, who will be in the soul realm. I will supply her with her needs for demonic qi but only the equal amount that the rest of you would be getting."  The old man's original plan was to get them all a boost, but after seeing Creige's determination, he felt it would be best for them to all earn their achievements as it would also give them better training as well.

"I do not care what kind of places we have to go or the training we must endure, I only know that old man…. I thank you for allowing me to be with my family again." Kana only cared about her family. Everything else was second. But she would also keep her promise to the old man. So she will still work hard and keep her promise to the old man.
