Kana said nothing as she took a deep breath and let out a stream of dragon flames setting the old man on fire. The ugly old man did not even have time to react because he was dealing with the tribulation lightning rampaging throughout his body. 

"Ahhh! You little b.i.t.c.h!" The ugly old man yelled as he waved his hand, sending out a wave of b.l.o.o.d.y spears flying towards Kana. 

Kana was shocked at how fast they were. She did her best to dodge, but one still stabbed her in the leg as she jumped to get out of the way. Kana wanted to yell out in pain but held it in as she quickly retreated. She knew her flames best and knew that they would not be easy to put out. Right now, she had to get this b.l.o.o.d.y spear out of her leg and try to heal her wound.

Elder Ning, who saw this, almost jumped out at once. Kana had landed two amazing attacks on the ugly old man, which shocked him. But now he was worried. One drop of devil qi blood in her system can cause her entire body to slow down. Taking one last glance at the ugly old man, Elder Ning shot towards Kana's location to see how she was doing. When he gave her directions earlier, he had put a tracking formation on her body so he could find her no matter where she went. Luckily he did because it would be hard to keep track of Kana in this forest.

He found Kana hiding in an old burned out tree trunk hiding in one of its hollows. Trunks like these were used by many during their travels. It was a good place to rest and stay out of the weather.  The inside would be hollowed out from a fire which allowed people easy access to the inside. They would only need to find a hollow or make one of their own.

"d.a.m.n it." Kana cursed as she gripped the b.l.o.o.d.y spear that was as hard as cement and pulled hard on it. The spear was yanked out but caused Kana to cry out in pain once more. "Ahhh! That d.a.m.n ugly old man!" 

She quickly took out her storage box and grabbed some healing pills and something to wrap her leg with. After wrapping her leg and putting her storage box away, Kana felt something was off and quickly rolled out of the hollow tree just in time to see it explode. "Did you think you could hide from me!?"

"You are so persistent! I already have a handsome husband, I have no need for an ugly one!"  Kana yelled out while gritting her teeth and making a run for it. She stepped on air but only used one foot for das.h.i.+ng. If she did not have this moment technique, she would never be able to get away. What Kana found somewhat amazing was that she instinctively began using spiritual qi on a movement technique that did not require it and was moving ten times faster than before. Only if she knew she would be much faster if not for her current situation.

The ugly old man, whose hood was now off, revealing his old wrinkled face and now burnt white hair, rage grew even more. It was not so much Kana's taunting him that was angering him. It was the fact that she kept saying ugly this ugly that!

His greatest shame in life was the fact that he looked like a hideous monster. It was for this reason that he had switched to becoming a devil cultivator.  The righteous path as they like to call it, was filled with beautiful people who all made him look inferior. Even his own bride was stolen from him on his wedding day! Even now, when he is already so old, he hated good looking people and people calling him ugly the most! And Kana was both of those. She was good looking and calling him ugly. This made his anger rise one hundredfold.

" I will skin you alive!" The ugly old man's rage took over, and yelled back at the d.a.m.n girl.

"Skin me! Skin me! You need to catch me first, you dirty old pervert. Just remember, if you get close, I will cut your thingy off." Kana yelled this and sent two sword rays right at the ugly old man's crotch. She wasn't joking!

The ugly old man panicked and quickly dodged. He couldn't help but curse Kana's shamelessness.  Even Elder Ning cringed when he heard Kana's words and saw her attack just now. He couldn't help but think that Kana was really vicious! She knew a man's weak point!

Kana sneered and swung her sword a few more times but this time imbued it with tribulation lightning like she did before, causing the sword rays to instantly arrive in front of the ugly old man hitting him right in the family jewels! The ugly old man had no time to yell out in pain when Kana's words interrupted him.  "I told you if you got close to me, I would cut it off!"

"You d.a.m.n brat!" The old man was not having an easy time. With his current cultivation, he was able to fight while trying to purge the first bit of tribulation lightning when more was now injected into his body, causing his internal injuries to become even worse, and on top of that…. ON TOP OF THAT, he was now one leg short! This was a shame of a lifetime! He would never be able to leave behind his legacy now!

Anger rose to the extreme in the ugly old man, but he could not even move forward. He was in too much pain! And Kana was not going to let this chance pa.s.s by. She quickly shot forward, ignoring the pain in her leg while wrapping her sword in tribulation lightning. She jumped up into the air and did a flip bringing her sword down right on top of the ugly old man's head. But before she could land the blow, the ugly old man suddenly moved and waved his hand, using his spiritual power to blow Kana away!

Kana flew through the air like a kite caught in the wind and slammed into tree trunk after tree trunk. When she finally landed, she skidded across the ground and rolled a few times before finally stopping. She had no time to recover before she began coughing up large amounts of blood. 

After coughing up three mouthfuls of blood, Kana caught her breath and dug her sword into the ground. Her body was a wreck. Cuts and sc.r.a.pes could be seen on all her exposed skin. She struggled to lift her head as she leaned on her sword, her eyes cold with murderous intent as she stared at the ugly old man who was slowly walking towards her.
