Elder Ning explained what had occurred on the way here, causing Lord Yong to frown and look over at the devil cultivator's side. The elders of the devil cultivator sects all lowered their heads, not daring to make eye contact with Lord Yong. They had no idea why someone like Lord Yong would even be here. This was normally not a place he would show up. 

Seeing them all look away and not daring to look at him, Lord Yong snorted and looked at Kana. He swiped his storage ring on his finger and pulled out a rank eight healing pill. "Kana, eat this."

Kana opened her eyes to see a white pill with golden lines being handed over to her and reached out to take it. "Thank you." Kana nodded her head in thanks before popping the pill into her mouth and closing her eyes once more. This pill was much different from the pills she had. She could feel all her wounds beginning to heal at an insane speed. The wound on her leg was also quickly mending itself.  And in a matter of minutes, the hole was no longer there. Not even a scar could be seen.

Lord Hong saw Kana's wounds instantly healing and nodded his head in approval. "She is able to get full efficiency out of the pill, not bad."

After about an hour, Kana finally opened her eyes and smiled. She could feel every one of her wounds, internal and external, had been healed thanks to that pill. She now did not need to worry about going into the mystic realm and could explore it without issue. '

A few days pa.s.sed without any incidents between the devil cultivators and righteous path cultivators. It was the day before the mystic realm was to open that things changed. A large shadow formed over the ground causing everyone to look up. A huge black spirit boat hovered overhead, causing Lord Yong, Elder Ning, and even Old Bi to frown. "Why did they show up?"

"Elder Ning, who are they?" Kana asked. She could feel strong killing intent and blood l.u.s.t coming from abroad the boat.

"Di Shang's sect. The Blood Devourer Sect….. This is the inner disciple spirit boat. Most likely, the one on the boat is…." Elder Ning did not get to finish before a loud voice could be heard shouting down at them.

"Lord Yong, it has been a while." A skinny many with pale greenish skin floated down from the s.h.i.+p. Behind him were ten disciples, all wrapped in a blood red spiritual qi flowing down behind him. 

"Hao Zhongqing…. You actually stepped foot out of your sect?" Lord Yong asked through gritted teeth.  Lord Yong really wanted to curse. Of all the people who could show up, it just had to be someone who was on the same power level as him.

"Hehe… Are you done sucking up to that b.a.s.t.a.r.d king? Di Sang died. Do you know who is responsible?" Hao Zhongqing's eyes swept over the crowd before locking on to Kana. Kana felt a chill run down her spine, having this man look at her. His eyes were filled with murderous intent, and the pressure that he was pressing down on her with, was great. She was struggling to just keep standing. Beads of sweat had already formed on her forehead. Kana gritted her teeth and pursed her lips, struggling to keep standing even as blood dripped from the corner of her mouth. 

"Hao Zhongqing!" Lord Yong's body flashed and quickly appeared in front of Kana and placed his hand on her shoulder, dispelling the spirit pressure. 

"Oh? Why the angry look? I was just testing your disciple. You see, the one we have recorded in Di Sang's death stone looks very much like this little girl. Is she also entering the mystic realm? I wonder if she will return…." Hao Zhonging's lips curled up in a sinister smile before turning and waving at this disciple. "Line up!"

Lord Yong watched as Hao Zhongqing brought his disciples over to the side with the other devil cultivators and let out a sigh of relief. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I will be fine by tomorrow…. Just a minor injury…." Kana was shaking. The spirit pressure coming from Hao Zhongqing was almost enough to press her into the ground many times over. If she did not have her G.o.ddess soul, she would probably be dead right now. She really wished to curse. She did not know why all these strong people kept popping up in front of her trying to kill her at every turn!

"Here, take this and heal up. It's best to be sure." Lord Yong handed another white pill with golden lines to Kana without hesitation. "You will need to be extra careful tomorrow. Each one of his disciples is at the peak of the foundation realm. There is no doubt that they are all here to target you." 

"It's fine. I can handle some brats." Kana had no worries about fighting those of the younger generation. She could feel while they had strong blood l.u.s.t and killing intent, they did not seem to have much actual combat experience. 

Lord Yong nodded. He also felt Kana would be fine, but he still said: "You should at least take two people with you….."

"No, I will be fine. I do not wish to implicate anyone else in the sect. Not only did I kill the old ugly b.a.s.t.a.r.d's disciple, but I also did the same to the old ugly b.a.s.t.a.r.d. If these people keep wanting to chase after me, I have no choice but to send them off to the river of reincarnation. Remember, if it comes down to it, I still have my biggest trump card. Not even this old green b.a.s.t.a.r.d can live if I get serious." Kana had full confidence in her abilities. Much more than before. Especially after learning a few things from her previous fight. She would not fight as clumsy as she did against Di Sang. With her new and improved movement technique, she will be able to move at speeds much faster than others. Once she can grow a bit stronger, she hoped her system seal would unlock enough to allow her to see her stats again. Just keeping track of her progress was something she would find handy.
