A long stretch of blue water lay in front of Kana as she slowly flew through the air on her flying boat. The sect master had gifted her this boat as it would take her a long time to reach the mainland. While Kana could easily fly there in just a few hours, she knew her family would take a while to reach the peak of this plane, so she decided to just use the boat and fly there in a relaxed fas.h.i.+on. Currently, she was sitting on the edge of the front of the boat, looking out over the water with her feet swaying back and forth.

In her mouth was a bone that she had been gnawing on for a couple of hours now. "Hmm… It seems I will need to get some more meat."

Kana waved her hand, and a splash came from below her. A large sea demonic beast with fins and legs came flying up into the air and hovered in front of her. She opened her mouth and blew out a fiery flame for a few seconds until the smell of freshly cooked meat entered her nose. She then waved her hand once more, causing the freshly roasted sea demonic beast to fly towards her and hover next to her as Kana ripped off a huge chunk of meat and began munching on it.

"Slightly fishy but otherwise not too bad," Kana muttered as she continued to munch on her meat.

An hour later….

"Burp! That was very filling!" Kana let out a satisfied sigh as she laid back on and looked up at the blue skies overhead. She did not need to steer the flying boat. The sect master already took care of the direction the boat needed to head in. A kind of autopilot, if you will. It also came with a barrier to keep any weather off her so she could lay down on the deck of the boat without a care in the world.

Kana did not mind this small bit of alone time. She had been with her family for many days and nights, and she knew she could easily see them at any time now, so being alone now was not lonely at all. In fact, she felt content with her current life. She wanted to see what the future held for her and her family. What lay beyond the heavens themselves to the realms she originally came from, she did not know. But she was still too weak to reach her goal just yet. She still needed more power, and that would take time. But that time was nothing now with her loved ones with her, spending time with her.

Kana closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep. She had no idea how long she slept for when she felt something off. She opened her eyes to see a large flying s.h.i.+p right in her path. It was many times the size of her own flying boat.

She yawned and stretched her arms as she slowly stood up and looked out over the water to see that something was even more off than just the fact that a large flying s.h.i.+p had appeared. "Hmmm? What's that? Pinball?"

*Boom!*

A loud explosion was heard as her flying boat shook, causing Kana's brow to furrow. "They just shot at me!" Angered by the fact that they just tried to destroy the gift the sect master gave to her, Kana's body disappeared from her flying boat and reappeared on the deck of the s.h.i.+p that just shot at her. "Whoever just shot at my boat, get out here right now!"

Silence. It was so quiet that one could hear a pin drop if one were to fall at this time. The cultivators on the s.h.i.+p all stared at the intruder in disbelief. They really had no idea how she suddenly appeared on their s.h.i.+p!

Moments later, a young man was dragged out on the deck and forced to kneel down in front of Kana. "Apologize to this Senior!"

"Senior! Mam! G.o.ddess! I am sorry. I shot at your boat without thinking!" the young man pressed his head on the wood deck, not daring to raise it.

"Since you are sorry, then I will forgive you but do not go shooting people's boats like that. It's rude!" Kana snorted before disappearing from the deck of the s.h.i.+p. She once again returned to her own flying boat and sat back down in her normal spot, and looked out over the water. "All that exercise made me want more meat…."

Back on the other s.h.i.+p, the pressure had disappeared, and all the men looked at one another. "Captain…. Should we run?"

"No! We will follow behind Senior and make sure no one fires upon her boat. She allowed us all to live even after we made a mistake that should have killed us all so we will make sure she has a safe journey without interruptions! I don't even care if we have to blow up a s.h.i.+p from the holy land. We will do it. It would be safer than making enemies with that divine beast.
