"Kana, look." Creige pointed at the strange markings on the stone steps. Each step was covered in these runes.

Kana rubbed her b.u.t.t as she looked at the runic markings. Her head buzzed until she found information regarding the runes. "The ancient Telerian race? Why would they have these runes here?"

"The ancient Telerian race?" Creige was confused.

"It's a race from ages past. One of the very first to ever be created after the time of chaos. Things are still fuzzy, but from what I understand, this kind of runic markings should not be here as they should not have a connection to this world unless…." Kana remembered the chaos being she absorbed and felt like this planet might be some kind of fragment of ancient past.

"Then do you know what it says?" Creige asked. He never thought there would be a place where even Kana would have some of her power restricted with how powerful she was now.

"It says that those who wish to climb must climb normally. It basically binds all air travel above the steps. Jumping is about the only thing you can do to a certain extent. Other than that, it has a gravity field that gets stronger the higher you go, but this doesn't affect us. The rest of the runes you see scratched about the steps are all binding runes to bind what is transcribed here. The Telerian race was known for their words of law. Similar to Angelica's ability to use words to control a person's soul, these runes are doing the same but to the physical area around them. Kana sighed as she looked at the tall steps. It was unfair! Why did she have to climb up normally!?

"Then…." Creige knelt down and stuck his head between Kana's legs and hoisted her up on his shoulders, causing her to yell out in surprise. Kana smiled and leaned her head down while pulling Creige's head back and kissing his lips. "Thank, Creige."

Like this, the two worked together to climb the steps. Kana would be hoisted up, and she would grab the edge of the step and pull herself up. "It might be some kind of tradition. We shouldn't judge them." Creige replied. With that, the two took off into the sky, leaving behind two old men who were still bowing.

"Old One, we can lift our heads. They left."

"Old Two, what the h.e.l.l was that? Why were G.o.d realm cultivators coming from the immortal realm?"

"Sister Bi, Mama only wants to make sure we have a place to live when we need it. She is not taking them for fun." Mei Ling explained, but she was far from being correct. But it was enough to deter Bi Ling from trying to steal a bunch of mystic realms.

"I am not sure. But they seem to be pretty desperate for attention." Mei replied. She also had no idea why they were bowing to her.

"What if we take one of those lizard thingies we found and stick them in their robes? You know, the one that spits fire."
