Jia Li found her life important, so she wouldn't dare that. When she thought about not being able to get out of bed for a week, she thought there was no way she could survive that.

Early in the morning of the next day, Jia Li and Fu Hua left for County X (China). Jia Li was half asleep when they got back home, so Fu Hua had to support her to the bedroom to get more sleep.

A few days later, Jia Li took Fu Hua on a date when she found out it was his birthday, as she almost forgot about it and Fu Hua didn't say anything about it.

Fu Hua was surprised when his little wife asked him out on a date while he was still at work.

"Do you know how to reserve a restaurant?" He asked over the phone as he smiled.

"I asked Brother YingPei for help." Jia Li replied happily.

"I will come home on time to go on the date my wife invited me to." Fu Hua said with a smile.

"Bye." Jia Li said and ended the call. She chuckled happily and got dressed before leaving the house with her purse.

She didn't go out alone, she went out with one of the soldiers. When she arrived at the shopping mall ???? she took her time picking up two pairs of cufflinks and 2 ties ???? for Fu Hua, before going to pay for it.

She wanted to get him a gift, so she shopped with her card and not the one he gave to her. She has lots of money now and a month and some weeks back, FJ transferred her pay for the rights to her dress.

The things Jia Li bought were not cheap but she didn't mind spending a little money on her husband. She only hopes he will accept them and not be annoyed that she got him something.

When Fu Hua came back and walked into the bedroom, Jia Li was sitting on the couch with a smile. He walked towards her and kissed her cheek.

"Where are we going on a date?" Fu Hua asked curiously.

"It's not a special place but you will see once we get there. I want you to have this first, I will wait for you downstairs." Jia Li said as she handed the shop bag that contained the gifts to him, before leaving the bedroom.

She was a bit nervous as she didn't know what his reaction would be like, so she chose to leave.

Fu Hua was surprised by the gifts because they were expensive but more importantly, he could tell she chose the gifts carefully since she chose the style of things he uses.

Fu Hua did not react the way Jia Li was thinking he would react with the gifts. When he met her in the sitting room, he thanked her for the gifts.

"Thank you for accepting them." Jia Li said with a smile as they left the house together.

The date Jia Li arranged was very simple but at a good restaurant. They had good exotic foods on their table and laughed over a gla.s.s of wine.

Jia Li didn't need a reminder not to drink too much because of her baby, she had only a gla.s.s of wine.

While chatting, the cake Jia Li ordered arrived and she sang along with the people that brought the cake over.

"...Happy Birthday my dearest darling..."

When Jia Li finished singing, the staff left, except one of them who was ordered by Jia Li to capture those moments.

"Make a wish and cut the cake." Jia Li said as she clapped her hands in excitement.

Fu Hua was happy with the surprise that he listened to what she said. He was satisfied with her surprise.

In the morning before he left the house and when he came back around noon, she didn't say anything to him regarding his birthday until now, so he was quite happy.

Jia Li fed Fu Hua a piece of cake and he did the same as well.

On their way back home, Fu Hua said to her, "You have really spent a lot of money today, why didn't you use the card I gave to you?"

"I wanted to spend my money on you." Jia Li replied.

"The money I gave to you, belongs to you." Fu Hua said as he brushed aside a few strands of her hair.

"I didn't work for it." Jia Li said with a smile.

She wanted to spend her hard-earned money on him and that was the only way to show her sincerity at this time.

"My little wife has grown up, thank you for today." Fu Hua said happily.

On the first week in March, a flight ?? from a foreign country landed in City B's airport. Some minutes later, two young ladies were seen stepping out from the arrivals while chatting happily and they both seemed to be good friends from their interactions.

"...this will surely be a good way to surprise them." The taller young lady said as a smile spread across her face.

"I told you, when you get home, greet Aunty for me." The other young lady said before parting ways with the other one.

The cab the second lady took, drove straight to the Fu Residence. When the security at the gate recognized her, they immediately let the cab drive inside the compound, although it was against the rules.

They haven't seen that young miss in a long time and now that she came back after a few years, they just had to let her go in with the cab.

After the cab driver helped the young lady take out her bags from the booth, he drove away immediately. He didn't know who's the house he came to but seeing the security at the gate, plus the soldiers standing close to the magnificent building, he knew it wasn't child's play and left immediately so as not to get into trouble.

One of the soldiers, went to the young lady's side to help her with her bags.

"This place hasn't changed a lot.." She said with a smile as she made her way inside the house.
