Turning to s.h.i.+ Qiao who had a worried gaze on Fu Meixu while she was being treated at one corner of the office with her gasping in pain, the director said to him...

"Mr. s.h.i.+ Qiao, we are sorry for keeping you waiting all this while. We will release you as we have an internal issue to settle."

s.h.i.+ Qiao had no choice but to leave reluctantly. It was when he got outside the building that he saw that he was still holding Fu Meixu's bag.

Some minutes later, Zhi Ruo left the director's office with her manager scolding her.

"Why couldn't you stay put! Do you know the kind of trouble you've brought to yourself? So many people witnessed how you abused Fu Meixu and they recorded it. You shouldn't dare to be angry!"

"You are my manager, shouldn't you come up with a method to save me from this horrible situation?" Zhi Ruo asked in an annoyed tone. She couldn't remember when last she got herself into this kind of trouble.

"There is no way to help you, just go back home and rest and wait for the company's verdict. You should be praying that Fu Meixu doesn't take this matter to heart and sue you!" Her manager said with an annoyed gaze.

"Why would she sue me when I already know I have a huge fine to pay? I am an A-list actress, the company can not afford to lose me." Zhi Ruo said with an arrogant tone.

Her manager rolled her eyes at her and explained, "You are right about one thing. The company can not afford to throw you away after investing millions on you but as for the rest, you are wrong about them. Have you forgotten that Fu Meixu has so many witnesses to that incident and there is evidence of you abusing her? So many people will come out to testify in court because they are already on her side and the company can not stop them."

"The company will never allow this because it will damage their reputation." Zhi Ruo said with full confidence.

"You're right but Fu Meixu will try to sue you and because the company wants their reputation intact, they will try to negotiate with her and do anything she wants in return so that she doesn't take you to court. Tell me, what do you think her request will be?" Her manager asked with a smile and then walked away with an angry gaze.

Zhi Ruo just thought about something and she became so angry that her face twisted in a frown. She just thought of the possibility of Fu Meixu setting her up.

Recalling back to the incident and Fu Meixu's actions of threatening her in a low tone, Zhi Ruo cursed in a loud voice, as she just discovered that she was used.

Zhi Ruo quickly followed after her manager and asked in an urgent tone, "That b.i.t.c.h set me up!"

"What evidence do you have?" Her manager asked without stopping.

"What?" Zhi Ruo exclaimed with a frown as she didn't seem to understand what her manager was driving at.

"Fu Meixu has evidence to prove that you abused her. You just said she set you up, where is your evidence to prove that?"

"She threatened to s.n.a.t.c.h my boyfriend from me, is it not enough?" Zhi Ruo asked.

"If you don't have any supporting proof, you are wasting your time and even if there was one, you can't win against her because you hit her, you violated one of the company's rules, you ruined the efforts and the money spent on her skin, you caused a delay in the ads shooting as well and let's not forget that the fact that her body had insurance. My dear, you already have a lot of offenses under you."

Her manager reminded her of all her crimes without sparing her a glance.

Zhi Ruo was having a headache already. "It's not my fault! She used me!"

"You should have thought about that possibility before hitting her and causing problems for yourself. Fu Meixu has the Fu family behind her, so you can't escape. Stop following me and go home already. Stay indoors and wait for me to contact you!" Her manager said before leaving her behind at the spot.

Back in the director's office, the director kept apologizing to Fu Meixu whose face was red and swollen plus the few scratches she got. Fu Meixu was in a lot of pain as her b.u.t.ts and body hurt.

As s.h.i.+ Qiao was not around, there was no need for her to fake a cry. There was an ugly expression on her face as she glanced at the director.

"Director, I want to sue Zhi Ruo." Fu Meixu said in her clear voice.

The director and her manager had expected this, so they were not surprised.

"Meixu, we know you were wronged and we are sorry about it. I would have allowed you to sue Zhi Ruo but she is part of this agency and our reputation will go down the drain."

"What about me? Do you know the kind of pains I'm going through? Do you know how long she has bullied me? Nothing can stop me from suing her! She is way too arrogant not to be taught a lesson!" Fu Meixu said angrily.

She was no longer pretending and was showing her true emotions. She had no idea that Zhi Ruo would be so violent as to push her and slap her hard.

Thinking back to how she has suffered in her hands, she didn't want to let go. She would make sure she lost everything she worked hard for.

"Meixu please calm down. You have to think about me. If the Agency has a bad reputation, it will affect everyone." The director said in a dilemma.

Fu Meixu's manager was quiet. He supported Fu Meixu to get revenge.

"I will not be affected because many agencies are waiting to porch me." Fu Meixu said without a care.

"Okay, what do you want? The company will take responsibility for it." The director said as he tried to negotiate with her. He was already at the end of the cliff.

Fu Meixu was a hot cake that couldn't be abandoned and he also couldn't allow Zhi Ruo to be sued because of the company's reputation, so he had to try and negotiate with her.
