A day before FJ's fas.h.i.+on show, Zhi Ruo packed her bags and left for another country for a holiday that was imposed on her and the worst was that she had to foot half of the bills which means that she has to manage now since her money was involved.

The next was the first day of FJ's Autumn Fas.h.i.+on show for the year. Jia Li couldn't go because Jasmine was still young for that kind of exposure. The members of the Fu family got VIP tickets and of course, FangSu wasn't given one, much to her anger.

Grandfather asked for FangSu not to be get out of the house before he left. While FangSu stayed at home, her greatest friend went to the fas.h.i.+on show.

Grandfather Fu didn't go for the show but went straight to Fu Hua and Jia Li's place. He knew that Jia Li would be all alone at home, so he went there to accompany her.

Jia Li was so touched when she heard from the old man that he came to keep her company. She hugged him from the side and thanked him.

It was a good thing that the old man wasn't repulsive of dogs like Fu Hua did because she already asked for Ocean and the pups to be let in. At least, they could keep her company while she watched the live show on the TV.

Ocean laid down on the rug obediently. But as for the pups, they didn't know how to stay at a place for long. They would only be over you that minute. But in the next few minutes, they were already up, doing their thing.

Housekeeper Zu came out to serve the old man some fruits and an aged wine that was good for his health.

"Grandfather, enjoy the drink. It will help you stay stronger and healthier." Jia Li said to him with a smile.

"Thank you." Grandfather Fu said with a smile as Butler Zu poured some drink into his gla.s.s. After the old man had a taste, he nodded happily and gave Jia Li a thumbs up.

"The wine is rich in taste." Grandfather Fu commented.

"And that's the reason I bought an extra bottle for you. Grandfather, I will pack it immediately." Jia Li said with a smile.

Jia Li got the bottle of expensive healthy wine for the old man. She was concerned for his health and had to do something for him. She was happy she made the right choice.

"That's good!" The old man replied happily.

As the fas.h.i.+on show was about to start and Jasmine was sleeping, Jia Li and the old man fixed their gaze on the TV and watched the countdown begin.

The fas.h.i.+on show lasted for 4 hours. And in-between those times, Jasmine woke up and the old man. carried her. When she was hungry, Jia Li bottle-fed her before pa.s.sing her to the old man that was eager to hold his great-grandchild.

The old man agreed to leave after Jia Li convinced him to go back and rest. She knew he must be tired and have other important things to do after spending a lot of time with her and the baby.

Housekeeper Zu didn't forget to hand the wine to Butler Lu.

Before leaving finally, Grandfather Fu talked about hosting a party for Jasmine when she would turn one month and that would be a few days.

The next day which was the second day for FJ's fas.h.i.+on show, Fu Hee and Fu ChunHua didn't attend instead, they came over to keep Jia Li company.

The two women left when it was almost the end of the show.

Jia Li could see reporters surrounding Fu Hua immediately after the show was over. They were asking him several questions related to his hidden wife and child and a few questions that were asked were related to FJ's activities.

Fu Hua only answered a few questions or rather, he summarized the numerous questions he was asked with a simple answer.

"My wife and child are doing great, thank you for asking. FJ is working towards releasing a new collection soon."

Fu Hua's response was so short and that made the reporters question themselves. They had clearly asked him about the ident.i.ty of his wife, the reason he is hiding her from the public. They also asked about his child and other private questions but he didn't say anything concerning that.

After saying that short response, the bodyguards came and s.h.i.+elded Fu Hua from the reporters so he could leave.

Fu Hua didn't go home last night because he was very busy. But he managed to have a facetime with Jia Li and their daughter. And now the show was over, he left his team to wrap up the rest, while he went home to see his wife and daughter.

When Fu Hua got home, Jia Li welcomed him with a hug. She kissed his lips and congratulated him on the success of the show.

Fu Hua hugged her tightly and inhaled her scent with his eyes closed.

"I missed you and our princess." Fu Hua said in a gentle tone as he held Jia Li in his embrace without letting go.

"We missed you too. You sound tired, you need to take a shower and eat and only then can you sleep." Jia Li said to him.

"I will listen to you but first, I have to see our princess. And I'm skipping the food aspect, I will eat later." Fu Hua replied as he released her from his embrace.

"Okay, I will keep your food on. Go ahead and freshen up. Jasmine is in the nursery with Mrs. Zu, you can quietly check on her on your way." Jia Li said with a smile.

After Fu Hua went away, she went to the kitchen to take care of his food herself. She put his food in a flask to warm it, before she took it up to his bedroom, so he can eat it after he was done resting.

Jia Li's idea was the best because when he woke up from his deep sleep, it was already so late at night. He saw the food flask on his table and got out of bed.

He walked towards the gla.s.s table and saw a handwritten note by Jia Li next to the food. She asked him to eat the food...

'Eat your food and then you can join us in the room next door. We love you! ??'
