Fu Hua didn't call any private designer to teach Jia Li some skills, instead, he drilled her himself. He was always giving her a.s.signments after each cla.s.s and that was so tiring to the mother of the little girl that loved attention, especially when she didn't care if her mother or father were not in the mood.

Jia Li saw that her trick was working, so she continued without slowing down. She did that a few more times before stopping.

Jasmine didn't bother to cry again after seeing a peculiar sight of her mother. She gazed at her mother as she put her fingers in her mouth.

Jia Li screamed in her mind for success of making the little girl quiet.

"Jasmine, you know you're my cute little bun, right? But why do you do that all the time? You stress your mother when she needs rest, do you care about me? But I do care about you, please treat me better." Jia Li said with a pout.

Only if her little bun could understand her, she would be more relieved.

"Since you fell for my trick obediently, we are going to see your favorite cartoon." Jia Li said in an excited tone as she clapped her hands.

Jasmine babbled as she kicked her feet and hands about. The little bun seemed to be excited as well. Jia Li lifted her little bun and planted a kiss on both of her puffy cheeks.

Jasmine was chubby and cute, no wonder Jia Li complained of her weight whenever she carried her for longer than an hour. The little bun was eating healthily.

Jasmine giggled when her mother kissed her cheeks and played with her for a while. Jasmine was so excited that she moved her hands to grab her mother's hair and that was when Jia Li got in trouble.

"Hey! Can you let go of my hair!" Jia Li said immediately as she tried to reach out to the little girl's hands but Jasmine had a firm grip on her hair.

The little bun was still babbling excitedly. She looked so happy as she leaned over to put the hair in her mouth and that was when Jia Li got a chance to escape her hold.

Jia Li stared at her bundle of cuteness and didn't know what to say to her. Her scalp was in so much pain that she could go on scolding without stopping but who did she want to scold, a baby?

Jia Li's hair was in a mess because of the pulling, so she loosened her hair and let its length fall behind her. The little bun seemed surprised to see all that glory.

"Give me a minute." Jia Li said to the little bun as she tried to ma.s.sage her scalp and right at that moment, a knock sounded on the door, it opened.

Jia Li glanced over, her gaze turned to a smile, "You're back. Welcome."

"Thank you!" Fu Hua replied in a gentle tone as he walked towards her with a smile. He kissed her lips and her cheeks before leaning away.

Jasmine looked excited to hear her father's voice and she continued to babble on and on until he came to her side to kiss her forehead.

"How are you princess?" Fu Hua asked with a smile as the little girl grabbed his fingers out of excitement.

Jia Li watched them with a smile, before turning her gaze away. Right now, she was trying to tie her hair up but she couldn't.

"You look like you need help." Fu Hua said as he got up and went to her side.

"I do. Your daughter almost pulled off my hair. Her grip is quite strong for a 3-month-old." Jia Li complained.

"She is growing properly." Fu Hua replied as he moved his hands about on Jia Li's long silky hair.

Right then, a knock sounded on the door and Housekeeper Zu walked in only when she heard a response.

"Madam, it's time for the baby to be put to sleep. I will help you with that." Housekeeper Zu said with a bow.

Jia Li thought that Fu Hua would refuse but to her surprise, he approved and Housekeeper Zu took the little girl away along with some of her things.

"Come, let's go to the inner room." Fu Hua said as he pulled her along.

When they got there, he made her sit, before he started to take care of her hair. He took his time combing her hair, before deciding to pack it in a bun.

"How do you see it, Jasmine won't see anything to grab unto apart from your bangs." Fu Hua said with a smile.

Jia Li chuckled softly as a sign of tacit agreement with his words.

"I need to take a quick shower." Fu Hua said as he took off his tie from his neck.

"I will help you." Jia Li said as she stood in front of him with a smile.. Next, she put her hands on his s.h.i.+rt and began to unb.u.t.ton it, all to Fu Hua's amazement.
