When Fu Hua stopped in front of the podium, he was already annoyed with the manner the newbies were staring hungrily at him and making hushed noises, so he looked to give them a sharp look, and that made all of them shut up and comport themselves.

"Oh my G.o.d, I love how he's fierce!." One of the ladies said in a low tone as she blushed. Bai Jun who was sitting next to her glared at her, but no one saw that.

With his hands in his pockets, Fu Hua took his time giving each one of them a good look with a deep frown on his face.

Finally, his gaze locked with Jia Li, and to Jia Li's surprise, his facial expression didn't change as he glanced over at the next person beside her.

'Is he ignoring me?' Jia Li thought to herself when she didn't notice any change in his facial expression, not knowing that Fu Hua was more than happy to see her, and the reason he looked away so quickly was so that he wouldn't smile at her.
