"Thank you, my love." Fu Hua said with his hands wrapped around her waist. Jia Li just smiled and gave him a peck before looking around his office

"I had no idea you were this proved by your employees. They sent you so many gifts."

Fu Hua glanced around and said with a smile. "I don't care about their love, I only care about the one you have for me."

"You are so naughty." Jia Li said as she got off his thighs. "I have to get back to my station in 10-15 minutes."

"No, 20 minutes. Spend 20 minutes with me. We will cut the cake together, drink some wine and chat before you go back." Fu Hua said while holding her hand.

Jia Li stared at him for a few minutes before saying, "20 minutes it is then. But work matters have to be included, so I can report back to Miss Sunny."

Fu Hua agreed to her requests, and so they went on to cut the cake, drink a little wine since it was still work hours, and chat. Talking about the gifts, Fu Hua said they would go through them together the next day.

Before Jia Li left, she didn't forget to take a few seconds video of the entire office.

When Jia Li showed the video to Sunny, the latter was surprised at how she managed to get the video without Fu Hua noticing.

"He wasn't looking, so I took that opportunity to get the video." Jia Li replied.

Jia Li was now so good at lying that she was doing it so smoothly. This was the person that told Fu Hua to pretend like she wasn't there while she too the video.

Sunny believed her but felt that she took a big risk, because if Fu Hua discovered her, he may punish her.

To the surprise of FJ's employees, their Big Boss shared his birthday cake amongst them. This has never happened before! They all began to wonder when their Boss became so kind.

Bai Jun was happy to eat a piece of the cake, without minding that Jia Li was the one that arranged everything. She envisioned that Fu Hua personally picked a piece from his cake and gave it to her with a smile. That was what Bai Jun thought while eating the cake.

After eating the cake, she forgot about all the troubles and disappointments she faced that day and was now thinking if Fu Hua had seen the gift she sent to him.

After work hours, Jia Li took Fu Hua to get a ma.s.sage, after which she got a new outfit for him to get dressed in.

"Are you taking me out for dinner?." Fu Hua asked with a smile.

"Kind of, but we are having dinner at home. We can't stay out today, Jasmine has to partake in her father's birthday celebration." Jia Li replied.

Fu Hua saw sense in what Jia Li said, and agreed to that, so they got into the car and left for home.

On their way back home, Jia Li sent out a test to Fu Hee to ask if everyone had arrived. After getting a positive response, Jia Li relaxed her tense shoulders.

When they got home, Fu Hua held Jia Li by the waist and walked into the house, but what he saw, shocked him. All the immediate members of his family were in his house, and immediately he stepped in with Jia Li, they started singing a birthday song for him.

"What?" Fu Hua said with an unbelievable facial expression as he glanced at everybody before looking at Jia Li who was standing by his side and singing along with everyone else. He was really taken aback by everything.

After singing the birthday song, Fu Hua turned to look at Jia Li and asked to the hearing of everyone, "When did you have time to do all of these?."

"Brother, are you surprised? Then this is a good thing!" YingPei said with a big smile. It was not easy to do anything to surprise his big brother, so he was happy that it was possible to take him unawares.

"Why are two still standing over there? Come in and seat down." Grandfather Fu said as he beckoned on them. The old man was sitting while carrying his great-granddaughter on his thighs.

Jia Li and Fu Hua walked in proper and came over to greet the old man and the rest of the elders like Fu Lei, Fu Geming, Fu Juan, Fu Hee, and Fu ChuHua.

When Fu Hua saw FangSu, his smiling gaze almost disappeared. He was about to ask what she was doing in his house when Jia Li touched his arm and whispered to him, "I asked her to come and celebrate with us, I'm sorry I didn't mention it to you since I was planning a surprise for you. I'm going to change my dress, I will be back in 10 minutes."

After saying that, Jia Li patted his hand with a smile before walking away.

FangSu who was scared that her brother would chase her away finally relaxed after Jia Li spoke to him, and he moved his gaze away from her.

"I told you that you don't have to worry about being chased away. Once you are in Jia Li's good books, you are safe. You really need to thank me again for helping you out." Fu Meixu whispered with a proud smile.

FangSu glared at her and said, "I spent all my money to buy you a gift, and still you are not appreciative. Why don't you sell me and use the money you will get?"

"I will consider it." Fu Meixu replied with a smirk before leaving her side. FangSu felt so annoyed by her att.i.tude of nonchalant. Her heart has been bleeding silently since she saw paid for that expensive bag.

Fu Meixu appeared on the news because of that bag, and given its worth, it was enough to garner attention from the media and fans.

When Fu Meixu was asked how she got the bag, she said it was a gift from someone. She said that in a suggestive tone, and everyone thought it was a male friend that gave it to her.

Seeing the news, FangSu was angry at everyone's speculation. One time, she screamed at her phone saying, "It's my money, I b.l.o.o.d.y bought the bag for her!"
