"Giving myself to you is enough reward." Fu Hua replied. He was deliberately teasing her because he loved her reactions.

"This means you haven't given yourself to me all this while." Jia Li said to him.

"Okay, now I'm speechless. I will reward you handsomely if you pa.s.s my test." Fu Hua said as he has lost the zeal to continue teasing her before he gets into trouble.

"Don't call me during work hours, I don't want to be distracted." Jia Li said in a kind reminder. She knew that there was no way they wouldn't speak for more than 5 minutes if they were to engage in a conversation. And being a young couple that loved themselves, they were likely to talk for a long time and forget they were working.

"Don't miss my calls on purpose, I will let you continue with your work, for now, bye, I love you." Fu Hua said as he blew her a kiss.

"I love you too, bye..." Jia Li said while waving to him with a smile.

After work, Jia Li texted Fu Hua to tell him about the treat Sunny was sponsoring, and that she would be back home in an hour plus. Fu Hua replied to her text with an 'ok' sign ?

Sunny arranged for the company's bus to take them all to the location of the restaurant she booked. Those that had a means of transport like Jia Li, could come with their cars.

When Sunny said she was going to treat all of them to food and drinks, she truly set out for it. The restaurant she booked for their treat, was an expensive one, and the round table arranged, could contain them all.

There were looks of admiration on the newbie's faces as they walked into the restaurant, and when they were directed to their room.

"Miss Sunny, your monthly salary will be gone in feeding us today." One of the newbies said in pity.

Sunny smiled and replied to him, "Don't worry about my money and eat, the bill is on Mr. Fu, so you can order what you like."

"What! the Big Boss is paying?." Linda asked with a surprising glint.

Even Jia Li was surprised by the revelation. When she was speaking with Fu Hua and also when she texted him and he replied, he never mentioned anything about the treat, so she was quite surprised to learn that he was going to foot their bill.

"It feels so nice to eat whatever I like." One of them said with a big smile.

"I'm sure it feels so good to spend Mr. Fu's money, I won't hold back while ordering."

When Jia Li heard this one, she rolled her eyes in her head. 'Why do you feel good about spending my husband's money' She thought in her head. That sentence made Jia Li jealous.

Actually, Fu Hua didn't know about the treat until Jia Li mentioned it to him, so he decided to sponsor it from his purse. When he called Sunny to tell her that he would foot the bills, the latter was surprised, and agreed, while wondering who tipped him off about the treat.

Zimo was on a week's leave, so it can't be him. Not bothering about the matter since it wasn't a serious case, Sunny went on with her work.

After everyone had settled down around the big round table, three waiters came in to take their orders.

Jia Li didn't order much since there would still be more than enough food served at home just for her.

There was a bottle of wine in their order, so when it arrived, Sunny popped it and poured a little quant.i.ty into everyone's cup. After the first gla.s.s clinking, everyone was allowed to start eating.

Jia Li kept checking the time, and Sunny noticed it but didn't say anything, and finally, when 30 minutes was up, Jia Li got up and took permission to leave.

"JL, why are you leaving already, we just got here?." One of them said with furrowed brows.

"She has a husband, a child, and a family unlike most of us," Marié said.

Sunny had to speak up at this point. "Jia Li, please give me a minute."

Jia Li sat back down and paid attention to what Sunny was about to say.

A few minutes later, Jia Li left the restaurant. Sunny had just told all of them to work very hard during this period, as FJ was planning an opportunity to let them showcase the level of their talents after working with them for a certain period, and then it was going to be a very big exposure for them.

"...the date will be announced soon. But till then, don't stop working hard." Sunny said to them.

The newbies drew attention to themselves right from when they joined the compet.i.tion FJ held, and now, after some months have pa.s.sed, people will be curious about their progress, and so, FJ was planning something to bring them back to the limelight once again.

When Jia Li got back home, the father and daughter were playing together, but she still saw an opportunity to ask him about what Sunny told them after the excited little bun welcomed her back home.

Fu Hua confirmed that something like that was being put under consideration, and Jia Li did not ask any more questions.

"Grandfather said he will come with us to pay a visit to your parents next weekend." Fu Hua notified her.

This is exactly 3 years since Jia Li lost her parents, and every year, she would go to her hometown to visit them.

"Grandfather is coming with us?." Jia Li asked in surprise. This was the first time the old man was going to see her parents after they were buried, so it was a surprise to her that he wanted to come along with them.

"Not only him, Mother and father are coming along as well." Fu Hua said. This news was more shocking than the first. To Jia Li, it felt like the entire Fu family was coming with her to pay a visit to her parents.

Jia Li was surprised by this news, but there was no rejection in her heart. Her father-in-law has never met her parents physically and virtually, so he must want to come along to pay respect to them.

As for Fu Hee, she was present during the burial of Mr. and Mrs.. Qin, so it can be said that she has met them before.
