"They already have a media presence, they are popular and are good with what they do. If they wear my clothes, it will help to boost the exposure." Jia Li replied.

Sunny put down the list and said to her, "Don't you have the confidence that you don't need popular models to make your work stand out?"

"The truth is that I have the confidence but I don't want to overlook some things. I want to win this compet.i.tion, so I'm going to go all out for it." Jia Li replied with confidence.

She had confidence in her works but this was a compet.i.tion, so she had to do the needful no matter how beautiful her work was.

"I like what you said. So, how do you plan to contact Miss FangSu and Miss Meixu?" Sunny asked with a curious gaze as she really wanted to know what Jia Li's response would be.

"That's another reason I'm here. I need to know what kind of show and how big it will be, so I can convince them because they already rejected before." Jia Li revealed.

Jia Li's revelation came as a shock to Sunny who was not expecting her to be rejected by the Fu sisters since they were now family or did she get everything wrong?

"You were already rejected by them?" Sunny asked with a rather surprised gaze.

"Yes. n.o.body wants to work on a show that wouldn't benefit them and besides, their agencies may not agree to that, so I plan to get a better understanding of the show, so I will put my words in order and try to convince them again." Jia Li replied with a determined gaze.

She really wanted people as popular as her two sisters-in-law to model her clothes in order to boost her presence. Jia Li can't let Fu Hua down after all he had taught her.

Sunny who earlier thought that Jia Li was having things easy on her since she was a member of the Fu family, had a change of mindset. She now saw that Jia Li was not having things easy on her side but that helped her to feel a bit better.

Sunny liked Jia Li and would love to a.s.sist her in any way she can but provided that she doesn't take advantage of her status to win or get things done.

Sunny heaved a deep sigh before saying to Jia Li, "I will give you all the important details about the show because you asked. Normally if no one asks any question about it, we are not allowed to say anything out of our will."

The thing here is that the people at the top are not allowed to say anything to any of the compet.i.tors concerning the important details of the compet.i.tion/show if they do not ask about it. So now that Jia Li has asked about it, she will surely get answers. But there was a limit to what information she could get.

"First of all, you need to improvise on the models you selected. It's possible that they might have something on, on that day or an accident may happen. Without a backup plan, everything you ever had in mind will be ruined." Sunny advised in a serious tone.

After listening to her, Jia Li knew that her words were important and made a lot of sense and she agreed with her.

After studying Jia Li's countenance, and seeing that her words were not for fancy, Sunny felt relieved and brought out a file from her desk.

"This is the list of all the models FJ works with, you can contact any of them to help you out. And don't forget that I'm not the only one with this list."

"Thank you, Miss Sunny." Jia Li said gratefully as she received the file from her.

What Sunny meant was that she was not the only Supervisor that had the list, as her other a.s.sistants will also share the list with their students, so she had to pay attention to the models she would picking and also contact them first before the others do.

"That's my job, no need to thank me. What about this model with the name, **** DanDan, I have never heard about her before." Sunny asked as she pointed at the 4th name on Jia Li's list.

Jia Li glanced at the name she was pointing at and replied, "DanDan is my friend and she is not that popular because she hasn't worked with a named brand before but I would like to use her as one of my models."

"Because she is your friend?" Sunny asked with a serious gaze on her. She sounded a little disappointed at the fact that Jia Li picked a model that was not popular because of the relations.h.i.+p she had with the person.

"Yes and I would love to give her career a boost. This exposure will benefit her a lot and that is the reason I want to utilize this opportunity." Jia Li replied.

Although it may look like DanDan was not worthy of this opportunity as she had nothing to offer but Jia Li was sincere in helping to boost her career. Since Jia Li had confidence that her works will be popular, she knew that attention will also be placed on the models, hence, an opportunity to boost her friend's profile.

"JL, I am a bit disappointed in your decision concerning this pick. This is business and there are no sentiments in business. When it comes to business, don't pick people based on sentiment, otherwise, you will lose value. But if you insist on picking her, I won't stop you, the choice is yours to make." Sunny said.

"Thank you Miss Sunny for the advice." Jia Li said with a slight bow, before picking her list and walking away with it.

Sunny, seeing that Jia Li has made her decision, let her be as she couldn't force her to do anything she didn't want.

Jia Li went back to her office to go through the list Sunny had given to her, so she could make provisions for her backup plan.
