After Mu Keer finally realized that the ¥5,000 the Huang family had just given to her was gone, she beat her son without minding his injuries, then she cried and shouted while sitting on the dirty floor.

Mu Keer's son was already in pain because the beating he received from those thugs that s.n.a.t.c.hed the money from him and hitting him again, caused him more pain but not that she cared.

Real tears came out from Mu Keer's eyes, as the money that was just taken away from her without her spending even ¥1 from it, was more heartbreaking.

More troubles came for Mu Keer when her daughter returned with one of her debtors who saw her daughter on the way and when he saw their market list, he was furious that she had up to ¥300 spend when she couldn't pay back his ¥55, so he followed her home.

No matter how Mu Keer explained that she didn't have any money and that the one someone had just given to her was s.n.a.t.c.hed by thieves about 2 hours ago, the man refused to listen and carried their television away.

Mu Keer had tried to stop him when he was taking their TV because she was only owing him ¥55 and the price of that TV he was taking was worth more than the money she owed him but he said...

"That is the reason I have to go with the television so that you can pay up fast. But I will only give you 2 weeks before I sell it off and use the money to settle your debts, then the remaining can be given to you if there is any."

Mu Keer was helpless as the man took their TV and left. Her daughter had thought that her mother and brother were putting up a show in front of their debtor but when she too learned that the money was actually gone and that her brother received those bruises from the people that s.n.a.t.c.hed the money, she wept.

Mu Keer kept screaming and throwing things around out of pain and frustration but no matter what she does, she would never be able to recover that money.

Grandfather Fu was on his way back to the Villa after an intense security meeting with the government when the Huang family contacted him through his Butler.

The conversation was money and Butler Lu was able to relay the contents of the message to Grandfather Fu.

"Sir, it's a call from the Huang family. The old lady from the Huang family in ***** City would like to meet you to talk about an important matter which is related to Miss Jia Li."

"Li girl?" Grandfather Fu asked in a surprised tone.

"Yes, Sir." Butler Li replied. Even he was curious as to what the Huang family had to talk about.

Grandfather Fu was quiet for only a few seconds before saying to his Butler, "I am free this weekend, ask her to come over to the house, our meeting time should be during brunch time."

"I will do that right away." Butler Lu replied and used the phone to send out a text concerning the meeting venue, the date and the time, after going through the old man's schedule.

When Grandfather Fu returned, he didn't make any noise concerning the call and only asked Fu Hua to come to his Study before dinner time after he returned from work.

Fu Hua just finished a meeting with his board of directors when he got a call from his old man. His tone didn't sound urgent, so he thought the matter was not serious and maybe related to his Wedding plans.

The only people that know about Fu Hua and Jia Li's wedding in April, are the Fu family but their extended family was still unaware, to prevent the news from spreading to others.

Since this was going to be a private wedding, Fu Hua didn't want anyone to know about it, till two days or a day to the wedding, before he makes the announcement officially.

Sunny was preparing to start production of the latest FJ's lady's handbags ? after Fu Hua had just approved of them, so she went to inspect the materials for the production with Jia Li and a few of her colleagues.

Many of them have been to the factory once and coming here a second time, was a blessing. The smell of the materials in the factory was strong and unhealthy, so everyone had a mask covering their nose.

Since Fu Hua and Jia Li came to work together in one car today, they also agreed to leave work at the same time. Fu Hua knew of the raw material inspection today and deliberately worked till that time.

When their visit was being wrapped up, Fu Hua called Jia Li to check on her and to know the time they would arrive at the office.

"Miss Sunny said we can leave work from here if we want but if our cars are parked at the company, we should go back there first." Jia Li informed Fu Hua.

"Okay, I'm coming to pick you up, I will be there in 20 minutes." Fu Hua said while standing up from his seat and picking his jacket while Zimo picked up his work bag.

"I will be waiting." Jia Li said and went back to join her other colleagues.

Twenty minutes later, Fu Hua arrived when Sunny had just wrapped their visit up. Fu Hua did not just leave immediately with Jia Li, instead, he had a little talk with Sunny and the factory manager before leaving with Jia Li.

"Do you want me to get you anything?" Fu Hua asked in a gentle tone with his eyes on the road.

"Nothing, except that I might want to get some cookies for Jasmine." Jia Li said with a smile.

It wasn't always that Jia Li buys some goodies for the little girl. Sometimes when coming back from work, she would branch at the supermarket to pick a packet of biscuits, cookies or shortbread. The number of times she got her chocolates and lollipops was limited because of her tooth.

"Sure, let's stop by the supermarket and get her something.." Fu Hua said.
