Getting to the bathroom, Alix pointed the remaining content of the wine into the toilet and flushed it down.

After doing that successfully, she placed the bottle of wine in the sink while smiling to herself in the mirror.

Next, she took off her clothes and climbed into the shower. She made sure to take her time bathing before stepping out and wrapping herself with a bathrobe.

Mr. Suarez who had been impatiently waiting for her to step out of the bathroom was already feeling sleepy when she finally stepped out. It looks like the drug had begun to work in his system.

When she stepped into the room, Alix teased the sleepy old man by opening her bathrobe and allowing him to take a good look at her naked body before she tied it back.

"Why did you take so long? I am already tired, are sure we won't leave this till tomorrow?" Mr. Suarez asked as she came on him and pushed him down on the bed.

"No way! This is the gift I prepared for you and it's only for this night." Alix said.

In the end, Mr. Suarez fell asleep after Alix must have finished teasing him and taken off their clothes.

Seeing him sleeping while snoring, Alix snorted to herself as she pushed him off her body and went to pick up her purse that was lying on the floor.

Picking up her phone, she began to browse on a site about some drugs which were deemed important, before putting her phone back in her purse.

Putting the purse on the nightstand, she laid on the bed covered her naked body with a blanket and closed her eyes to sleep.

The next morning, she intentionally slept in so she wouldn't have to be the first person to wake up. Mr. Suarez woke up before Alix and sat up feeling refreshed. He looked down at the faint marks on his body and the one on Alix's naked body and smiled to himself.

While thinking that something must have happened between them last night, he felt a little bad that he couldn't remember the details.

'What a good way to gift me something.' Mr. Suarez thought before calling the servants to bring a hangover pill for Alix.

Mr. Suarez had always been a good drinker, so he was alright and didn't feel the need to take any hangover pill.

Back in China, Fu Ling was trying to partner with FJ for their next upcoming female dress-up game. It took Fu Ling and his best team a week to work on the proposal for FJ.

Around 10 AM, after confirming his appointment with Fu Hua from FJ which would be around noon, he called his a.s.sistant to bring him the files he was supposed to sign.

"Sir, here are the files you asked for." Xiulan said as she pa.s.sed the file to him.

Taking the files from her, Fu Ling asked a weird question out of the blue. "Do you have a boyfriend?"

"I'm sorry what?" Xiulan said. She didn't think she heard him well, so her reaction was that way.

Fu Ling put down the files in his hands and gazed at her in slight worry. "Do you have a boyfriend? I'm worried that I may be ruining your existing relations.h.i.+p out of my selfishness and lack of understanding."

Before asking her to pretend to be a couple with him in front of his family, he didn't remember to check if she already had a boyfriend before using her, so now he was a little worried that if she was seeing someone, his plans might ruin their relations.h.i.+p.

Which man would let his girlfriend pretend to be in a relations.h.i.+p with their Boss maybe in public and in front of his family?

No man who had values would let that happen, even if it's for money.

Xiulan hid her disappointment and replied, "I don't have a boyfriend."

She seemed to be disappointed about the reason he was suddenly interested if she was in a relations.h.i.+p.

Fu Ling sighed in relief. "I'm glad you are still single as my plot wouldn't have to ruin your relations.h.i.+p with other people. Tell me when you have a boyfriend, so I can find a way to immediately end all of these."

Xiulan nodded in response before stepping back and turning to leave but Fu Ling made her stop in her steps briefly discussing a few things before she made her way out of his office.

Fu Ling had told her to prepare to go with him to FJ in an hour.

Immediately she stepped outside of his office, Xiulan sighed in relief. She stood there for a few minutes before returning to her desk.

An hour later, she and Fu Ling were already on their way to FJ in his car.

Jia Li had just finished eating lunch with Fu Hua when Zimo let Fu Ling and Xiulan in.

On seeing Jia Li in the office, Fu Ling smiled and greeted her first before turning greet Fu Hua.

After greeting them and receiving a response from them, Fu Ling went on to introduce Xiulan to them as his personal a.s.sistant.

Xiulan acted invisibly by bowing and greeting Jia Li and Fu Hua softly.

Jia Li smiled gently at her before glancing back at Fu Hua. "I will leave you two to have your meeting, I have to go back to my office."

After saying that, she packed up the lunch boxes she brought from home and walked towards the door but Fu Hua went after her.

"Wait." Fu Hua said as he took giant strides towards her. Thinking that he had something to say to her, Jia Li stopped in her steps and turned around to glance at him with a smile.

Instead of saying something to her, Fu Hua smiled and leaned in to kiss her lips softly, then he hugged her for a few seconds before letting her go.

Jia Li blushed and turned around to leave quickly with Zimo following after her.

When they got to the elevator, Zimo pressed the b.u.t.ton for the doors to open.. After she got in, she waved at Zimo before the doors closed and only then did Zimo happily return to his office.
