The person they were expecting to see were not the people they saw. They were expecting to see one person with the money but they saw five people and they were all soldiers dressed in their military uniform.

But their was one extra man who was dressed in a suit. He was smiling when Mu Keer opened the door for them and he was no other than, a.s.sistant Zimo.

Seeing this unfamiliar man and the five soldiers behind him, Mu Keer's instinct told her there was danger but Zimo's smiling face deceived her.

"Who are you?" Mu Keer asked with creased brows while gazing behind Zimo to see the straight-faced soldiers.

Zimo followed her gaze behind him and saw the soldiers strictness and guessed that she may be feeling insecure, so he laughed over it and said to her…

"Miss, please don't mind them, they are for security reasons. My Boss doesn't want anything to go wrong, so he sent them to escort you."

"Your Boss wants me to come along? I thought he would only ask you to bring the money." Mu Keer said in surprise without knowing that she has already given a point away, which Zimo will use to bait her.

Zimo chuckled softly and said, "There was a slight change in plans. You can take your valuable things along because you may not want to come back to this place after seeing the place we are going to."

"Is he getting us a new house? We don't have any valuables, my children and I are important. But what did we do to deserve this?" Mu Keer asked while trying to hide the smile threatening to be revealed.

"This is my Boss's way of showing appreciation to you. Please follow us, let's not keep them waiting, they have a flight to catch soon." Zimo said without denying or accepting her thoughts. His reply was suggestive and succeeded in convincing Mu Keer and her children to follow them.

Mu Keer's two children couldn't stop jumping up for joy that they were leaving their ugly house for a better one. Even Mu Keer couldn't stop smiling now.

How foolish was this woman that was ready to follow a stranger without investigation or proof of ident.i.ty?

There was nothing valuable to take from their house, so they happily followed Zimo with the soldiers behind them.

Right now, they were feeling themselves while thinking how important they were for the soldiers to accompany them for security reasons.

To them, this was a mind-blowing moment and the road to their new life.

There is no point in deceiving Mu Keer and convincing her to follow them when they could easily break into her house and pull her away, not minding the people that would come out because of the commotion it would cause but Fu Hua said to his father that he didn't want to disturb her (Mu Keer's) neighbors, so they should take her away peacefully.

When Mu Keer entered the luxurious van with her children, they felt that they were on cloud nine and even believed Zimo the more.

Not long after they had settled down in the van and admiring the interior, plus touching everywhere and talking loudly amongst themselves, Mu Keer's daughter noticed the chocolates placed next to the seats and picked up one.

"Who asked you to touch it?" Mu Keer asked.

"Mum, I'm sure they left it for us. Don't you know that we are their guests and they are giving us special treatment?" The daughter replied.

Mu Keer glared at her and asked, "How do you that?"

Her son immediately replied as he picked up one, "Mum, why else would they leave this here if they did not prepare them for us?"

When her children tasted the chocolate and saw how delicious it was, they couldn't stop talking about it and immediately picked up more.

When Mu Keer saw this and sensed the chocolates must be a good deal, she took a few for herself and opened one and began to eat it.

Only three of them were in the car apart from the driver. And because they were busy scrambling for the chocolates, they didn't see when the drive covered his face with a mask, before locking the doors and pressing another b.u.t.ton, which sent in gas from the ventilation system.

In no time, Mu Keer and her children collapsed and the van drove ahead of the military vehicle carrying the soldiers and with the car Zimo was in, leading them.

While Mu Keer and her children were being transported to the barracks. The Fu and the Huang families embarked on a journey to the graveyard to visit Jia Li's parents.

Meanwhile, Alix was already going crazy from the information she just heard from Carlos. The video she was expecting to be released this morning was nowhere to be found and it was almost 10:00 AM.

According to Carlos, he contacted the reporters in the early hours of the morning and they gave an excuse for the delay and said they would release the video as soon as their higher-ups give them the approval.

Right now, there was no estimated time for the video to be up and the excuses for the delay, that's what made Alix mad.

"Sometimes, I really wonder how you take care of matters and make them successful! This was such a simple task. I didn't ask you to kill anybody! I only asked you to make sure those reporters interview that some and release the video and that is what you can't accomplis.h.!.+" Alix barked.

"I have asked you to give me a few minutes for the reporters to get back to me." Carlos said to her in a calm tone. Even he was beginning to sense that something was wrong.

Half an hour later, Carlos didn't see any video and also there was no response from the three reporters, so he decided to get them through the phone only for their numbers to be unavailable.

"What's going on? Did they block my contact or is this a network issue?" Carlos muttered to himself.

After a few minutes of trying and the situation remained the same, he wasn't so daft to know that the tone of the music had changed.

He has been scammed.
