Chapter 605 – The Truth From The Past II

After helping Guang Bo to lay on the bed, the waiter took off his shoes and socks according to Huang Li's instructions before leaving.

Huang Li was about to leave when she heard Guang Bo's phone ring from his trouser pocket, so she walked back to the bedside to take the phone from his picket, after which she put on silence, so the sound from his phone wouldn't disturb him.

Huang Li put his phone on the nightstand and immediately, her phone started to ring, and without glancing at the caller ID, she picked up the call immediately as she was afraid the ringtone will wake Guang Bo up, or disturb him.

Hearing the familiar voice that makes her heart flatter over the phone, Huang Li forgot where she was and screamed his name excitedly.

"You're here already? okay, give me 5-7 minutes I will be outside soon." Huang Li said with a big smile as she walked to the window and pushed the curtain aside slightly, so she could see if she can see the hotel entrance from the window, but unfortunately, she couldn't.

Mr. Qin said something else over the phone, and Huang Li replied, "I love you too."

After ending the call, and still, with a smile on her face, Huang Li closed the curtain and turned to leave, but she was frightened because Guang Bo was standing in front of her, and gazing at her with a deep frown.

She had no idea when he got out of the bed and came to stand behind her.

"What are you doing? Are you trying to scare me?" Huang Li asked while patting her chest.

"Were you speaking with the man you rejected me for?" Guang Bo asked fluently, without looking and speaking like he was drunk.

Huang Li frowned and said to him, "He was already in my life before my father forced you in, so don't speak as if I met you first."

After saying that, Huang Li walked past him and went for the door out of annoyance, but what she didn't expect was that her words would anger Guang Bo who wasn't thinking properly.

Before she could touch the handle of the door, Guang Bo reached out and pulled her away.

"Guang Bo, what do you think you're doing?! Let me go this moment!" Huang Li said as she tried to pry his hand off her arm, but she couldn't because his force was way stronger.

Guang Bo dragged her out from the door and pulled her towards the bed before pus.h.i.+ng her on it.

Huang Li was very angry, and she kicked him on his stomach before he could lean on her. "If you're drunk, why don't you go to sleep instead of acting like a hoodlum?!"

After shouting at him, she rolled off the bed and picked up her phone that had fallen on the rug because of him pulling her, and made her way towards the door.

It felt like fire was ignited within Guang Bo. He has heard her speaking with Mr. Qin earlier, and he knew she was leaving for him, and he couldn't let that happen.

And with that desire to stop her from going to meet him, he got off the bed and dragged her again to the bed, while she screamed and continued to hit him.

"No matter what you do, I would never agree to be with you!" Huang Li said with a fierce gaze after failing to fight him off.

"Since my action won't make you change your mind, then there is no need in letting you off…" Guang Bo said as he pressed down on her.

15 minutes later, Huang Li who was in tears picked up her shoes and her ringing phone before das.h.i.+ng out of the room. And as she walked along the corridors, she hid her face from the camera and the people walking along the hallway, so her face would not be recognized.

Finally making it outside the hotel building, Huang Li whose eyes were blurry because of her tears, saw Mr. Qin where he was standing and trying to dial her contact again with a worried gaze.

As she watched him, more tears dripped from her eyes. At last, she called out to him and quickened her steps towards him as she was in high need of his comfort, but her steps wobbled, and she fell.

Mr. Qin who heard his name turned towards the direction where Huang Li was sitting on the floor. He saw her, and the state she was in and ran towards her in alarm.

"Li! what… what happened to you?!" Mr. Qin asked in horror as he glanced at her torn dress, and the horrible state she was in, as he squat in front of her.

"Plea.. se… please, take me away from here!" Huang Li begged him in tears, as she reached out to hold his s.h.i.+rt.

At that time, Mr. Qin didn't know what happened to her, he was only after taking her away from the hotel as she requested. And so, he stopped a taxi and helped her in.

It was only after she had struggled to get in, and he sat beside her, and the driver drove off towards the address he gave to him, that he was able to catch a glimpse of the somewhat dried blood on her thighs.

Mr. Qin who had wanted to ask her what happened, and why her 5-7 minutes, took 20-25 minutes, but no word could leave his lips, because he was so shocked.

Huang Li was still crying with a hand over her mouth, as she couldn't get over what she had just experienced.

Mr. Qin didn't want his imagination to run wide, but he could already guess what happened, and his heart was filled with rage.

With reddened eyes, he asked Huang Li in a low tone, "Who did this to you?."

Huang Li refused to respond and only continued to cry. Mr. Qin didn't ask her any more questions and instead, hugged her tightly and kissed the top of her head, and comforted her.

Mr. Qin took Huang Li straight to the hospital for medical attention and treatment. Huang Li refused to spend the night at the hospital because she didn't feel safe there, so Mr.. Qin had to take her to his self-con apartment.
